  1. This from Sky News Here it is - Boris Johnson is appointing a new government. It kicks off with Policing Minister Kit Malthouse being made chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, the most senior minister in the Cabinet Office after the Prime Minister. Next up is Greg Clark - an ardent remainer - who will take over from Michael Gove as levelling up secretary. Meanwhile, James Cleverly is going to be education secretary - the third in three days.
