Why the resentment?
He tried to arrange a walk out a day or so before the Cardiff game under Pardew when there was already one planned by SackPardew. He doesn't like not being involved.
Also a few month back, a lad started a fund for a Tiote tribute flag and asked Gallowgate Flags to help out then mentioned Gallowgate Flags in the info on the donation page. Martin then accused the lad of fraud and rang the police and contacted Luke Edwards about it.
He completely went off on one like, even though he was being fact checked constantly by everyone he 100% maintained his completely absurd position. It was fucking weird. He's just a complete arse.

Exposure for Sports Direct is no use in the Championship. He won't get a better deal than the £300m PCP seem to be willing to offer, if he doesn't sell then the club will probably go down again due to lack of investment, Rafa will leave, the club's value will probably halve and it will be lumbered in the Championship for a few years.
Ashley not selling makes absolutely zero financial sense for him whatsoever. And all he cares about is money.

Far better than anything we have though. Proven goalscorer in the PL. It's between him and Batshuayi for who I would like to see us get on a loan. I probably edge towards the latter but still would like to see us get him.
