David Luiz ffs
Would much rather us try for Batshuayi on loan if we have to lend a Chelsea player.

Communication is the issue I've heard and read about. His English is still awful.
Probably best that we sell him tbh. Doesn't play a lot, will have a decent wage and will fetch a hefty fee to boost the fund for January.

Lanzini banned.
-
The Auto Windscreens Shield, which is now the EFL Trophy. Don't think many clubs garner high attendances in that competition tbf.

Swansea look rank. Hope they keep Clement for as long as possible. At least up to our game against them at SJP. (13th Jan)

1-1.

Hope Swansea beat em tonight. Media are already wanking over him doing and amazing job
No, we need Swansea to get beat. They're winning though, Sod's law and all that.

There's a chance Noble and Arnautovic will be out as well apparently. We need a win here, hopefully the lads can provide it. 0-2.

Wist Am could easily put 3 or 4 in against us next weekend.
They really won't.
We need a little bit of surgery in January basically. A LB, a CM that can screen the back 4 and play a bit of football when required, a GK that isn't a complete retard, a ST and a creative midfielder who can play no. 10. The worry is the question of is Rafa actually going to get the funds he wants. He's reiterated in press conferences he doesn't know, that could be him staying quiet because it's daft to just reveal your budget publicly (which it is) or he actually just doesn't know.

Brexit and it's referendum was just a gamble of the country's future by Cameron to settle a pathetic argument in his mental party.

Just get the feeling that its a matter of when now, not if. All of the more concrete news (stuff from Caulkin et al, pictures of Ashley and Staveley leaving meetings, Staveley at the Liverpool game etc) has been positive and it's only been news outlets who normally don't report on us putting out the negative stuff. Apart from Luke Edwards of course, the arsehole. The silence hasn't helped either, nor has .com being negative about the whole thing since it all started.

Ever since Everton on Wednesday night, I've been quite worried tbh. That game opened my eyes to just how poor we are. West Ham away next weekend is a gargantuan game. If we don't get a good result in that I dread to think what will happen when Man City come to SJP on the 27th. The lack of assurance over the takeover isn't helping the atmosphere amongst the fanbase either.

Games like that are hard to take like, we defended well and it took a fairly spectacular effort to get a goal for them. Any sort of quality in attacking positions would have got us at least a point. It’s positive to see us looking better again defensively since Lascelles comeback, a complete clanger from the keeper, and a brilliant finish from Ozil being the only goals conceded, but we really have fuck all up front.
I still don’t see the point in playing Joselu, I understand Gayle at times can look very isolated in that formation but at least he’s something resembling a goal threat if he ever did get a half chance.
Just have to hope that the fat pig sells because honestly if he fucks this deal up following this lot will become fairly pointless, as this squad shows more than any that Ashley has no ambition or interest whatsoever to even allow the club to do anything besides attempt to cling onto PL survival for as cheap as possible. I know we knew most of that before but this would be him throwing away what would more than likely be the last good offer for the club he could hope for.

Although I'd absolutely love it if we caused an Arsenal Fan TV meltdown, can't see anything but a loss. 3-1 to them.
-
Get back to 4-2-3-1 which is the formation we actually picked up points in. Since we've went to 4-4-2 we haven't won a game. Get us back to being a (fairly) solid and boring side nicking 1-0s until the January window, where hopefully Rafa is given enough funds to make a difference to this dreadful squad with. This upcoming transfer window is probably the most important in the club's history.

Imagine paying attention to anything Michael Martin says. The bloke is a bell end of the highest order.

Aye, atmosphere should be good. 125th year celebrations, amazing flags display, positive takeover news, 5:30pm kick off.
We need to stop them from breaking on us, probably give them the onus to break us down like we did to Stoke earlier on in the season.

It doesn't matter who we get as a weak side will eventually be knocked out.
It's a damn shame that the FA Cup has been so undervalued.
Giving the FA Cup winners a place in the Champions League ( instead of 4th place ) would help fix the problem I think.
Crystal Palace, Aston Villa, Hull City, Wigan Athletic and Stoke City say hi.

Can we actually get a Premier League side in the 3rd round?
By the way, put money on Manchester United getting a home tie against lower league opposition. Someone like Millwall.
I'd like AFC Wimbledon, selfishly. Or maybe an away day at Port Vale.
Mind you, knowing our luck we'll get drawn away to an unglamorous Premier League side like Burnley or Watford and be put away after we field a severely weakened side.
Aye we can. Got Watford away under McClaren.
Yep. Live on TV as per.
AFC Wimbledon at home I think would be a cracking tie.
And yep. That's the usual tbh. Boring tie away at a shite club in the same league where we play lads from the u21s.
-
I'd like a home tie. Only 2 of our last 10 3rd round ties have been at home. Preferably against a shite Championship side who always throw the cup, QPR, Burton etc. A low ranked team would be good apart from bloody Hereford. If we had to have an away tie, then selfishly I'd like Hull away. Don't want the mackems.

Should be aiming for at least 5 points there.
