  1. Thank you for your contribution J69. It was a telling one, and it will be noted.
  2. Because the last 20 years is far more relevant you silly owld cunt. Everyone knows we were woefully mismanaged between the mid 50's and early 90's, it's not like it's a big secret. The same as everyone knows Liverpool fans were responsible for 39 deaths in Brussels in 1985. There's no point in dwelling on history though, the present is what matters, and my point that Leeds have spent more time outside the top flight than in it stands, as does all of the points you've made about Leeds which I've brutally dismantled.
  3. See Leeds actually made a £900,000 profit last year. From where they were that is a miracle. I think what it boils down to is Leeds fans don't like their present station, I do think Neil Warnock will take them forward though.
  4. 24,086 which is fair enough. It's cheap as chips to go but it's not just the admittance is it, it's the beer, the pies, the bets. We are in a massive depression and the NE is suffering as much as anywhere, I'll certainly not slag anyone who can't make it especially with the game being on TV.
  5. Bates is in no way worse than Ashley when we were relegated to be fair and neither were their tickets more expensive than ours. You'd think Leeds fans would applaud Bates' prudential fiscal policies given the reason they're in the position they are is because of Ridsdale's ridiculous management and frivolous buying policy the first time. People should learn from the past, reminds me of when Liverpool fans stormed the gates in the Champions League Final in Athens.
  6. Of course I am, laughable your sentence in your previous post, a clear and present case of someone trying to be clever and ending up looking like a total twat. How anyone could presume Leeds would be top 10 more than us throughout history should never talk about the game again and disappear in disgrace. So? Still exposes gaping gaps in your knowledge. Leeds hey day was 1965 to 1975. Since 1995 alone we've been involved in four title chases up till at least the March, Leeds NONE. In fact in your life time, I think you said you were 64? Leeds have been in the second tier for 31 of those.
  7. You used George Gently last night in analogy too, and no one knew who he was then neither. I think Brevik is a WUM, his racism goes unchecked too I've noticed. I'm still convinced Carroll will come, but I am massively MASSIVELY concerned about our defensive options. What if Taylor did his knee in the next week, followed by Colo breaking his ankle, we'd be going in to January with Perch and Williamson at centre half, I'm sorry like it's just not acceptable. Anyone half decent would do, even Bassong would've done.
  8. Absolutely not. I've just said they've spent more times out of the top flight, do you know anything about football at all? Newcastle have finished in the top 10 54 times to Leeds 30. Why do you talk about football, with such pathetic knowledge and insight?
  9. South East of Leeds, Featherstone, Ponty etc come under Wakefield Borough and they are most definitely east of Leeds. Splitting hairs there to be honest. It's no good having Britain's biggest exclusive catchment area though when you can't exploit it due to the lack of importance of football in that area. Christ, by their own admittance they weren't even filling Elland Road when they won the league. You should visit waccoe where a small portion of the clubs followers are brutally honest of what their club are.
  10. Not to a Liverpool fan to anyone else they generally do. A club who have spent more of their history outside of the top flight than in it will never be classed as big in most peoples eyes. Top club from the mid 60s to the mid 70s on the field and that's it for Leeds really.
  11. How is correct you silly cunt? As an actual sentence how is correct? Wakefield is East of Leeds and has a population of 315,000, not even taking in to account places like Pontefract. You've also got Harrogate, York, most of West Yorkshire (which has a pop of 2.5m people) Selby etc... In fact see when Doncaster played Leeds at Wembley, I was working in London at the time and it was a Sunday, more Leeds got on the train at Donny than Donny fans. Anyway the point is for a club with Britain's biggest exclusive catchment area population wise, Leeds' support is a disgrace. J69 I've been to Ripon a few times, the last time after the Grand National, and I distinctly remember 20 pissed up divvies singing Marching on Together. It's a Leeds supporting town.
  12. What is interesting is that Dzeko appears to be heading to Arsenal for £13m, I'd rather have had him than Carroll like, I really rate him, and he'd be even better if he started every game.
  13. Look at you getting emotional Not one takes the piss out of me, you doilum, while 96.4% of every post quoting you on this message board over the last 5 years has been done in a piss taking and/or condescending manner, if you can't see that you're a bigger doilum than I thought. They've beaten two teams that will be relegated, or will certainly be in the relegation mix, when they've got 12 points from 12 games you'll look a meff. Well you do now anyway.
  14. Utter pish, you have Castleford, Skipton, Wakefield (a place where 300,000 people live), Ripon, York (where there are more t'Leeds fans than York City).
  15. Are they North and East of Leeds? Nope. 1 in 10 people, if you're going to use that simple equasion and be so dense, 1 in 5 people from Newcastle go to games.
  16. The population of Leeds alone is 800,000 you silly cunt, their unchallenged catchment area to the North and the East is probably 2m easily. It devalues the " " when you follow something with it, when it's not funny. The fact Brevik laughed is telling. If you read what I've written I've mentioned the fact RL is just as big, and their gates are abysmal because of it. They're just not a big club support wise when they should absolutely massive.
  17. Me: pipe down LBT: no Me: you like Brevik, talk pish and are a wrongun LBT: thanks
  18. How is it nonsense? Leeds is a much bigger city population wise than Liverpool. They get over 80,000 people watching their teams. Leeds is more or less the same size as Tyne&Wear we get 90,000 people watching our teams every week. They should be getting 70,000 gates and that's a fact, but football is not a big thing in Leeds hence they couldn't even sell out when they last won the league and their capacity was 33,000. That's my point Leeds is not about football.
  19. I have seen their gates over the last few years, they're totally shocking. They've had 10 gates over 30,000 in the last nine years. They have a decent core of away support but given their location and the fact it its the biggest city in Northern Europe with one football team they're utterly abysmal. They should be getting 70,000 every week regardless what division they're in, but they've never had a history of decent support. Very comparable to Boro.
  20. Totally agree. Utter utter paraffins. You're more likely to be a scruffy cunt from Leeds than if you're a scouser, what a statement that is, and its true.
  21. It's not a football city though. They have no history of decent support, like seriously, support wise over the history of football they're not much better than Middlesbrough. They had a 10 year period where they were a successful club, and that's Leeds United. Nothing club. Poor fanbase, that's why I wouldn't buy them, you buy Newcastle and they're much much much a sexier Man City overnight.
