Owa the moon on so many levels not least that he is the key reason like him or loathe him why Spurs (for a club of their size) have over achieved in the last 3 years. Martinez? Capello?
-
What a backward old doilum. I wouldn't dare post on Skunkers. I was there one day abused a few people told them I was black and got called the n word the d word and the c that rhymes with toon word. Stupid owld cunt.
-
I love this tournament even the shit games are quite interesting. Obviously the World Cup is bigger but you get better games in the Euro's imo. That was a lovely game, aye Ronaldo was shite, he'd have scored 4 in that game in a Madrid shirt. Hard one to call tonight like. Holland tend to raise their game against Germany, but you can either have van Bommel OR de Jong, but not both if you want to win games against top countries and do it well.
-
Well done for admitting you're a cunt and crucially WRONG. Noted. Look at your sig man
-
You're so dense. A clear and present weak bladder old fluffer. Their 9 in a row was from 1988/89 to 1996/97. Celtic finished 1st or 2nd in every single season from 1995/96 onwards. Why is it difficult for you to understand, that this should be 17 in a row for Celtic, 1995/1996 to 2011/2012 is 17 seasons, explain to this forum why you've made a cunt of yourself please.
-
I've done all the maths. You are officially WRONG. What do you not understand about the points difference between Celtic and the rest being between 11 and 45 points between 1996 and 2012? What is difficult to understand about that. Celtic can only gain 12 points off Rangers more than the rest and they've never beaten them four times in a season. A monkey could understand it. I suggest you quote more reliable sources in future. Celtic as I've said are entitled to 17 in a row.
-
Someone is talking shite who did the maths then from 95/96 to 11/12 the points gap between Celtic and the rest varied between 11 and 45 points. The 11 point season Hearts came third, and Celtic lost to Rangers meaning even without the Rangers results they'd still have been victorious. As I said previously, Celtic should be able to claim 17 titles in a row.
-
You'll be able to count on one finger the amount of times a team have come within 12 points of Celtic though other than Rangers.
-
The B word will do a canny job at left back, he's adequate cover for Cole if he's fucked.
-
Barry Ferguson Souness bought for Blackburn. Also yes. Celtic have finished 1st or 2nd since 1995 so that's 17 in a row in my book, the only team to come 2nd in that time was Hearts in 2006 and Rangers came third.
-
Aye arms out wide, bounce bounce bounce, caam on then, bounce bounce, "mugs", bounce, bounce "faak 'eres owwd beew"
-
hehehe and surely now Celtic have won 17 titles in a row.
-
This will mean that Gazza has one credible medal from his career, and he was carried off after 21 minutes.
-
Hmmm you explained that well. So people are claiming this practise has been going on for two decades? No wonder the claim is so high. Surely Murray has to be accountable for some of this?
-
Obviously, you're a bit younger so you might not remember, but it's not even an argument from anyone that Rangers were living beyond their means in the early 90's, they weren't. You use the example of Duncan Ferguson. They got every penny back on Ferguson when he signed for Everton for £4m. They basically got their money back on Gazza too, and a whole host of other players. They were haemoraging money left right and centre under Advocaat. Flo depreciated by £6m in 18 months for example. They weren't living beyond their means under Smith, in 1993, they were raking in the CL money, they should've actually won the CL imo, they had the biggest sponsorship deals in British football, and that era is incomparable to Dick Advocaat's spending which the club have lived with ever since.
-
As much as Rangers are a scummy club, I tell you what I can't understand as well, we've all been to Ibrox, it is without any doubt one of the most beautiful stadiums in the world. The main stand there is in fact my favourite stand anywhere. So this consortium will buy the club for £5.5m once its been liquidated, how the fuck is Ibrox not worth £100m? Even the land must be worth an unbelievable amount of money. Is Ibrox not owned by Rangers FC?
-
He didn't spend more than Blackburn or Man Utd, but they could afford it. The most he ever spent on a player was £4m.
-
To be totally honest with you, I don't understand the concept of "double contracts".
-
Advocaat spent £82m in three seasons. Now more than a decade on, even a big Premiership club would be quite happy with that type of financial clobber, never mind a SPL club then. Smith didn't have anywhere near that in either of his tenures.
-
The vast majority of the debts they now have are as a result of the Advocaat years. Rangers in the mid 90s were one of the 20 richest clubs in Europe on turnover, paying £3m for Gazza and £4m for Boli and Laudrup didn't break the bank, the Advocaat years ruined them.
-
Nar they were more or less self sufficient in the Gazza/Laudrup years, they were Champions League regulars, had full houses, and with the help of a certain Freddie Fletcher were marketed superbly. The downfall of Rangers financially came in the Advocaat years. They spent nigh on £100m, £12m alone on Tore Andre Flo, the de Boer's, van Bronckhorst, Artur Numan the list is endless and this is where their financial woes started. If you remember by the time MON took over Celtic they were spending all of the money and McPish had to rely on frees like Nacho Novo. It's amazing McPish won two titles, and Rangers have been struggling financially ever since. I bet Souness knew the seriousness of their plight when he gave them £8m of OUR MONEY for Boumsong. Scum bag and scum bags. My heart bleeds.
-
I've always regarded Rangers as a small club, they have a nice ground, but like Celtic you take the bigotry away and glory hunter element and you're left with two clubs no bigger than Boro, illustrated by the fact neither averaged over 40,000 in their entire histories before 1997. That said they are significantly bigger than every other SPL club, but I agree with Toonspac, the loss of Rangers to clubs like Kilmarnock and Motherwell won't be that great. Two gates with an extra 5,000 won't kill them. £250,000 max. Plus they'll have a better chance of getting in to Europe. Not that Scottish football commands any respect, but any spor of it will disappear if they allow Rangers back in to the SPL. Rangers FC, will no long exist, so surely they can't be called Rangers FC any more. Boro had to change to Middlesbrough FC, from Middlesbrough AFC iirc.

Exactly. It just adds fuel to organisations like the EDL. It's a fucking disgrace that The Guardian should even publish it. The way life is going we'll a crescent moon as our badge within 30 years.
