Definitely. We should have went for Boyata on loan. He's certainly an upgrade on Taylor and Williamson. I reckon if we put a cheeky £4m bid in for Bassong we might get him, and he's always tweeting about the toon. If Danny B is anything to go by the Spurs fans don't rate him too. Whats his crack about Newcastle like? Reckon he misses the city? Great fans. Wished us well against the mackems, praised us when we won. Misses shaggin lasses down the alley from Circus Circus* etc... * not strictly true

yes. You fucking hate Keegan don't you? They all do at Elland Road in the 80's he was hit in the eye by a coin.
-
aye, at Thatcher's insistence, what difference did that make like?

Best natural finisher the club has had since Micky Quinn.

To be fair, West Ham fans have no appreciation of their lowly station. They're a 15th-18th top flight club historically yet if they had Cristiano Ronaldo playing for them they'd moan. Shit club, shit fans, shit area, shit manager, shit ground, shit pubs round the ground, shit jellied eel shop opposite Upton Park tube. Shit District Line while I'm on shittest line on the tube.

Me doing a rendition of 'Please don't go' and Stevie explaining why scousers are mugs and the lad would have signed that deal.

People forget in 2003 with 8 games to go we all had 61 points, us, Arsenal and Man Utd. We had on paper the best run in too, but the first of those 8 games was at home to Man Utd, we went 1-0 up, but lost 2-6, if we'd have won that game, we'd have went to Everton and won there imo, and who knows what would've happened. Is that when Bobby said something like "We've got 8 games left, if we win them all we'll be champions.... but we won't" Fucking boils my piss that people think he'd lost the plot during the last 12 months. Even more so that certain ex-players reckon we're responsible for his exit. Combination of a chairman who got too involved and certain players who showed Robson very little respect. Aye that paragraph is all right. We drew too many, but had the lowest top flight loss figure in our history. The draws were due to lots of injuries to key players no other reason.

Did we have a better playing staff at the start of the season?

It's what the predictor said though You argued we'd be stronger if we bought any striker so with signing Ba I assumed you voted yes I also, in my first post on it, should have specified more clearly that I meant after the window had shut. I got side-tracked by you not accepting it as a measurable prediction. Notwithstanding these caveats, I reckon it's yes. The extent of the loss of Enrique is for now not certain as he might get replaced. Marveaux, Obertan and potentially Abeid have brought some excellent depth and options to our midfield and our attack is a whole striker stronger. Am not even discussing Nolan, as Cabaye is clearly a better option in the middle alongside Tiote who carried Nolan last season with his exceptional work rate and efficiency with the ball. Do I get a point? Anyway, the window hasnt shut yet so there is still time to sell even more of our best players. You get the point based on the vote either way. Not sure how anyone can say Marveaux and Abeid have brought "excellent depth" though. Only managed one bench appearance between them so far. Guess we'll see more of what they have to offer at Scunny. It's incredible the spin people will put on things to prove a point. Me mate made the same point as Chez and it gets to the stage where you feel they're only saying it to wind people up. ABEID, this is the fact about Abeid, he's NEVER PLAYED A COMPETITIVE GAME IN HIS CAREER!!!! Not one. How that is depth and how the likes of Donaldson, Smith and Perch are classed as depth I'll never knaa. -
Like I say any new cunts want in. You have till Saturday then it's closed.
-
Spot on really. Me mate had the audacity to say we have 16 midfielders on the books and we'll be alright, "Marveaux is a more than adequate replacement", "yes seen him play???", "well no...." Oh dear.
-
Brenner saying Barton's been offered £100,000 a week ffs.
-
Good first post Weldy, spot on post so it is, welcome to the board.
-
If they get Barnetta as a replacement I'll partially pipe down about this subject.

Taribo West springs to mind. Dabo, Cauet, Dabo, Domoraud, Georgatos all got regular games back then. Then of course - Ronaldo, Vieri and Zanetti. Two Dabo's? Benoit Cauet eh? He mint on CM as was Cyrille Domoraud, who was also class in real life when he played in France.
-
He never had none followed Tom. He did like - how else could he pick replies from the other 1000's there? He added Simpson then deleted him ages ago, I'm 99% sure he had no toon players on there.

Oh yes the fact there's a mackem identity recognised round the globe now is causing us so much harm. What planet are these mugs on? -
A bloke who's not well known in England but is very well known in your country was as good as both imo, Krassimir Balakov. He never got the recognition his ability deserved cos he never played for a big club. Balakov was quality like. Played for Stuttgart for ages didn't he? Aye, he was probably the best player in Germany, am sure they won things when he was there, think they were the biggest side he ever played for. Nee wonder Bulgaria got to the last 4 of the WC with him and Stoichkov.

Rice is back. Areet Rice. Brewceay ta go-ah? I think he's done well for Sunderland not even taking the piss, your fans are utter mugs, you've never been a top 10 side and he's taken you there. You'll where your station is 10th-14th but you need a striker. Know you place next time though son good lad. -
He's trying to tell me he's under 14st now and they call toon fans deluded.
-
only Tiote and Colo left now CT. Your man's doing just great.

Brian McNally revelling in this like, horrible sad fat mackem bastard.
