1. I don't have a forum that no-one ever goes on. I feel bad.
2. you heard it here first, as usual http://z3.invisionfree.com/NUFCforum/index...?showtopic=2019 186084 I think the moaning about Bramble's and Given's hoofing antics is as old as the internet tbh. I do it every week... 186090 it was just a shameless plug for a dodgy board tbh. 186091 This was the best shameless plug ever: http://www.toontastic.net/forum/index.php?...ndpost&p=178356
3. Said in the other thread that it's shocking that Bramble has been allowed to keep on doing this for so long. Because 1 in 10 goes where he wants it and gets a round of applause, he thinks he can do it every time.
4. Bramble believing himself to be David Beckham is probably the most irritating thing about going to the match. Three managers he's been with now, you'd think one of them would tell him to pack it in.
5. Total tosh He had a full pre-season with Inter, which I woyuld guess get's him pretty fit 185971 No he didn't. He's missed a number of their pre-season games with "flu", which was a way of getting him out the way while the move went through. 185973 What Number would that be ? 185975 At least 2 that I know of. He stayed at home while they went to Spain, where they trained and played. Why do you think our summer signings always end up crocking themselves? Bad luck? 185978 Erm................yes FFS 185981 Ah right. I prefer to look for real solutions rather than superstition. Bear in mind too that because of the Italian football scandal, Serie A don't kick off until September 10, so even what he's done is nowhere near a full pre-season.

8. Once again, we sign a player too late, don't let them get fit and fuck them up. Luque, Owen, Kluivert, Butt... Martins. Nice one Glenn. At least we were patient, eh?
9. Yep, I've got one too. Whenever one gets blown away, there's another one back the next day. Probably a nest of the fuckers behind the mirror.
10. I remember that one in the Viz where they all went tearing round to Grandpa's house cos they thought he was having a fight, only to get there and discover him having a shite. 184074
11. Thatcher should be getting 5 games minimum for that. Bloke's a nutter.
12. 4 out of 5. Nah, quite happy with this one actually.
13. Depends on the price? What were Borough going to pay? Would be happy with £3m for Huth. 183458 £5m is the price being talked about, that's what Boro agreed.
14. If Huth had been a reserve at any club other than Chelsea when they were taken over, he'd cost about half what he does. Hugely overrated with no real basis for it apart from "playing for the Champions".
15. I know, people who edit Wikipedia with misleading or funny stuff really piss me off. It was 'Ronaldo', you know, the bloke who thinks Bramble is the Second Coming.
16. That quote's a made up one, like everything that seems to appear in the footballing press. 183415 Someone was claiming it was nicked off Wikipedia, but then someone else was asking whether it went up on Wikipedia after the Times printed it. Is it the former? The problem is more down to silly dickheads trying to promote their unofficial Newcastle websites by making up quotes to try and generate traffic. Not a dig at anyone btw, as I've no idea who made these quotes up, but it doesn't help. Having said all that, the press shouldn't be so stupid as to print stuff that isn't from a) the horse's mouth or b ) a decent source. 183419 The person who said it was stolen off Wikipedia was the same person who put it on Wikipedia yesterday afternoon, so I assume he made it up.

This must STOP

I posted a thread about this on N-O a couple of weeks ago, and Gemmill, you're still wrong. The crowning glory of this new Wicker Man is that instead of being a virgin, which the producers thought was too unrealistic, the sheriff, as he now is, is instead allergic to bees and suffers from attacks by killer bees. What the frig is going on there? HF, I'm very disappointed you haven't seen Get Carter, the real one that is, not the shit one with Sly. I can think of a good remake though - The Thing was miles better than The Thing From Another World.
19. You've got to be joking. Gallas will go to one of Europe's elite. He's one of the best defenders in Europe and it never ceases to amaze me how often his name crops up from Newcastle fans saying we should go for him.
20. I can see Sammy's point. When N'Zogbia was arguably our best outfield player last season (toss up between him and Parker for me), it must be very disheartening for him to see Duff come in and take his place, while at the same time seeing other players underperform week in and week out without being so much as challenged for their place. My opinion is that you strengthen where you need to strengthen. See your weakest place - try and repair it. Then move on to the next weakest. Only when you've done all that and N'Zogbia is your weak link do you replace him. I can definitely appreciate that £5m is a great deal for a player of Duff's quality, but with money apparently so tight, I'm starting to think that I'd rather have had that £5m spent elsewhere. As DotBum (I think?) said, when it appeared that Duff was going to be one of four or five and we had a bit of money, it was fine - but Duff on his own or only maybe one more coming in after him is a bit daft. It's like if we only have £10m left for example, going out tomorrow and spending it on Buffon, because it's a good deal and he's better than what we have, or a £8m deal suddenly coming up for Robben - because he's better than Duff.
21. Never noticed that. What a plank.
22. Then again if it is true that he said those things about us then he might favour us more, plus he's knows he's guarantied to start most games for us. I know a lot of players say stuff like this just to get other clubs interested, but what you normally hear instead of what Kuyt has said is that they want to move to the Premiership and play for a big club. Not I want to be the new Shearer and bet he new hero of our supporters wearing the number nine shirt (whether that’s true or not) 178596 Those were the made up ones: http://www.sportnetwork.net/boards/read/s7...t=565483&sid=70
