  1. ty? did you put a tenner on it? now that would of been a result i was going to but the odds were only 20-1 so i decided to go for something with better odds as i only put a couple of pound on
  2. I cant believe I just wasted an hour of my life arguing about defenders with you when you come out with comments like that ive never seen him play. i havnt watched the video. i may change my mind but i wont be watching the video until after the match So it was a really fucking dumb thing to say then? not really

  5. Well, we had one decent striker in the entire squad, but apart from that we didn't miss him. We did well considering like. I don't think he'll start either though. who was this decent striker? i thought martins was the only one in the team
  6. cant be bothered to watch it tonight but i bet it doesnt beat rios defending at the 2002 world cup
  7. Taylor is rubbish because: 1) he is slow 2) he is pretty rubbish at tackling players. 3) he is rubbish on the ball. 4) his positioning is poor 5) his heading is average. 6) he apparently needs to play next to someone good for him to be good. 7) He has to make lots of last ditch tackles and throw himself at the ball all the time, ( good defenders, e.g. woodgate, king, ferdinand, dont need to do this because they have a bit of class about them. unlike players like terry and carrager Franco Baresi did that and had class about him. That's how good he was. never heard of him

  10. the last time we played chelsea at home when bramble played What the fuck are you on about? Thats great and all but it hasnt nothing to do with the fact that Taylor marked drogba out of the game last season at st james' drogba has been marked out the game by many teams/players as he has only had one good season in the premiership. Also the reason why i mentioned bramble marked him out the game is just because you mark one player out the game for one single game it doesnt make you a good player
  11. Well me and Johnny say it and we're the coolest people on here. the more you call him the cooler you are

  13. His positional sense is poor, for a big lad he isn't that strong, he's not very quick which means he gets turned quite easily by quicker players as he doesn't have the footballing brain to anticipate things instead of jumping in all of the time, he's poor technically and he's got a 50p head. Although as I have posted above I do acknowledge he has been in good form recently. Im not just saying this for the sake of it but i dont really agree with any of that, Ive seen him outmuscle Drogba for 90 mins, Ive seen him match some of the quickest players in the league for pace and technically he can hit a better pass than any other CB at the club bramble marked drogba out the game just as much as taylor did in that particular game
  14. hows it fashionable to say hes crap? ive always said hes rubbish so i must be super fashionable
  15. what about the time ronaldo was running at him so he just fell to the floor because he didnt know what to do.
  16. your opinion doesnt count if you actually rate taylor
  17. Richards and Wheater are the stand out young English centre backs in the Premiership. Taylor isn't anywhere near as good as either of them. The same Wheater that got bummed off Chopra. We are too critical of our own players....imagine if Taylor did that. Exactly, and Richards is a RB who playes for the u21s with Taylor I he's played most of his club career at CB. He's a bit wasted there I think although he's class in both positions, especially given his relative lack of experience and young age. id say he will be playing right back this season since city now hav dunne, ben haim and kompany I was making the point you wouldn't say he's just a right-back because he's very comfortable there or centre-back. I like him at right-back though, for his surging runs and power. Even if he plays a lot there from now on I think he'll play cb more when he's older. i wasnt havin a go at you or anything was just saying that he wil probably play RB

  19. i thought that was ashley young? and i think the only reason he is still at man city is because he would be priced out of a move anywhere else

  21. If taylors the english national teams future we will be a complete joke of a team We already are. Didn't you see the game on Wednesday? ok i suppose we are a joke at the minute but if we got a manager that actually went and had a go at teams and could get the players motivated we would be good with players like ferdinand, woodgate, king, gerrard, rooney and owen We've had three managers try and get the best out of these players without success. You can only blame the system and manager for so long, they just don't seem interested (Ferdinand excepted) when playing for England. mclaren doesnt count as a manager Granted, Van Klaren is fucking useless, but Eriksson and Capello certainly are not. Are you seriously laying the blame for our current predicament with the managers? well sven did ok as manager and we shouldnt have got rid of him, mclaren doesnt count, and from what ive seen from capello so far i dont think he is going to do well. scolari was the man for the job, he would have made us play well, easily qualify and get us to the latter stages of tournaments I'm sorry but there isn't much to choose between Capello, Scolari and Eriksson. The players just aren't up for international football. imo scolari is a much better manager than both
