you probably support AC Milan aswel though
-
will i get ridiculed for not knowing who he is either? even though he died when i was 6 months old
-
I'd save your defence of Taylor for a different match if I was you. come on alex, he had a 'cracking' game
-
Eh? What's his age got to do with it? If you're old enough you're good enough. And it's nothing to do with him being a scapegoat, he's just not a very good player, who if we want to progress as a club should not be in our starting XI. He's been at the club for 4 years is it now? He hasn't come on one bit. Although obviously that's probably not his fault, same with Taylor, yes? Milner just needs to get his final ball sorted, his final ball has improved but he needs to improve his consistency. I would also say that Taylor has come on quite a bit, although he does need to iron out the creases. They haven't improved as much as you would have like them to but footballers do progress, it's not like they stop at 22. Oh is that all? For a winger I'd say that's quite a big thing to sort out. Don't forget his inability to consistently beat a man or his general play not being very good. Obviously he's a scapegoat for the win today though based on that. Sad as It is we don't really have the best crossers. Geremi is terrible and can't beat the first man 80 % of the time. I would say Milner beats his man regularly enough and plays decent attacking football. As much as there are somethings missing in his game we aren't going to get anyone better by the look of it & Milner will only get better. My fault for forgetting the rest of our midfield are flawless though. geremi put a few really good balls in today. thats a few more than milners none.

hardly It probably is like. attacking players are more well known than defenders as they are the entertaining players Baresi is arguably the greatest defender that has ever lived though. well the only way i would have heard of him is if he was on tv back when i was 8 as i didnt go on the internet when i was that old and i certainly didnt watch much italian football back then i doubt i ever seen him.

-
Fucking hell, you're older than me? have you ever seen baresi play? Have I fuck. But I'd like to think you had at least heard on him? Aye I had, had you not triggy? when i seen the name i had feeling he played in italian league. Not sure if this was a lucky guess or because i had heard of him though
-
Fucking hell, you're older than me? have you ever seen baresi play? Have I fuck. Mate, seriously just leave this board, you have no clue about how to play football or what constitutes being a good defender. You havent even heard of Franco Baresi!!!!
-
it wont last Should of been 2-0 then you have to remember i predict the future

guthrie had a bad game

you should start your own football forum- www.ilovesteventaylor.com

Also about baresi, according to wikipedia he played 1977-1997, so by the time he retired i was only 8.
-
will finish 2-1 arsenal imo
-
1st of all could you please tell me what years baresi was a footballer? and also if you think taylor had a cracking game it shows that your the clueless one. he had a average first half and a poor second half. Your also going on about his slip when boumsong recieved lots of criticism because of slips. Taylor did not have a cracking game and if cacapa, bassong or edgar had been playing instead of him they would have easily performed equally aswel and in some cases better
-
hahaha good joke. i was at the match. they only looked like scoring because of him. As i said he had a decent first half as he played safe all the time. However, In the first half he made a poor clearance to a bolton player at the edge of the box who then had a bad shot, but would have been a goal against a decent team. He then went and gave the pen away and was lucky he didnt get booked as not long after he falls over and decides to pick the ball up. Now to me that isnt a 'cracking' game, especially as we were playing bolton who hardly ever leave their own half

it wont last

my player ratings: (scale of 1-10) Given- (8-10) Didnt have much to do. Very good distribution today. Really good save from pen which made us go on to win the game Beye- (7.5-10) quiet first half, got more into game in second. The more games he plays the sooner he will get back to his form of last season. Taylor- (1-10) did ok first half as he kept playing safe. nightmare second half, gave pen away then falls over and nearly puts them through on goal until he decides to pick ball up. Lucky he wasnt booked for pen as he would have been sent off. Hopefully keegan has seen we need to sign another CB Col- (9-10) AMAZING. Wins ball and plays it out. Will turn out to be better than woodgate. Zog- (5-10) Poor going forward and poor at defending. Milner- (6-10) didnt really see too much of the ball Butt- (6.5-10) did ok saved guthrie a few times. Guthrie- (5-10) had a poor game. passing wasnt very good and lost the ball quite a few times Guti- (8.5-10) some amazing balls. Will benefit when vidukas back as when he plays the ball to martins he cant control it and just loses it as viduka wil control it and give him it back. Will also be a bigger threat against teams that actually decide to leave their own half. Duff- (4-10) didnt see much of ball) Martins- (6-10) cant control a ball, cant pass a ball, should have dont better with his chance in second half. Gez- (7.5-10) played well when came on. Some good crosses, especially one for goal and really good ball through to beye for owens second chance. Beye benefits and plays better when gez is on the pitch as they work well together Owen- (7.5-10) good finish for goal. played well, wouldnt have thought this was his first game back
-
he certainly did
-
It did look empty, suprising really posh seats were empty

il stop before we make this thread 100 pages long with yes it was and no it wasnt

ty? did you put a tenner on it? now that would of been a result i was going to but the odds were only 20-1 so i decided to go for something with better odds as i only put a couple of pound on bloody hell thems not very good odds for that, still its a shame like, could of had a pie supper tonight i normally got the 100-1s e.g. today i went for martins and 4-0 and owen 4-1. (probably why i never win)
