A little too unselfish there.

Harsh on Sheffield but I don’t mind.
Good of them to come and play though TBH.

Dennis Wise doesn't seem very happy about that.

If our chances keep falling to Longstaff we're in trouble.
He's fucking always in that same area in the box, you'd think he be semi-decent at finishing from there.

farken hell, these could have been 3-0 up.
I was expecting us to be 3-0 at 15 minutes
They're playing with the freedom of a team relegated. You'd have to hope we have the quality to overcome that over 90 minutes, reminding them why they're heading back to the championship.
Strangely we're also playing with an ill-founded freedom that doesn't bode well with our defensive record.

They've been electric thus far.

Brereton Diaz may have slimmed down a bit but he's still a big faking fanny.

All comes around because of a lazy sloppy pass from Longstaff
He's not shit, but he has been playing exceptionally shit for a long time now.

Aye I thought he could have stayed on his feet, but its a pen. If thats any Top 6 team thats a pen.
Of course he could have stayed on his feet, the only tackles where you can't are brutal and almost never occur in the box. You have to go down in a scenerio like that to rightfully get the penalty. Usually anyway. He was right to go down but he has to be the least convincing player when going down under contact and it's reflected in how rarely he wins free kicks. I believe it's because he's fundamentally slow, so falling over always seems delayed. We need to get Jonas in to teach him, he was the best I've seen at Newcastle at winning free-kicks.

They deserved to win but I felt we were denied a penalty- dunno how it looked on the replay but in real time I was sure VAR would overturn itOn the replay it also looked like VAR would overturn it.

Howe nailed it v Spurs last week but got
it all wrong tonight.
on paper it’s a dog shit XI but we do have loads of starters out.
Bar Schar, not one good performance tonight. Anderson tried.
Gordon needs to start showing up away from home.
well played Palace though.
Palace were very good.

A few weeks ago you'd have put your house on Liverpool beating Everton.

He's fucking dogger. But you can't criticise a local lad.We really need to "protect him" by wrapping him in cotton wool and keeping him safe on the bench.

What a shocking pass that was Longstaff. We've been absolutely shite here.

I dare say he will. He must know that he can't play a full game week in week out at this point.
