  1. I've never been tempted to get my Chelsea 0 - 0 Newcastle tattoo removed from 2008 when JFK led us to that faithful night at Stamford Bridge, and hopefully one day I can meet up with this mackem guy for a few beers and photo opportunities. #

It's worn like a trophy everyday, stretches the length of my spine,

Think i'll probably get this one on my chest soon so no matter which way i face, people will see the legend in all his glory.

  2. He's got to come back for Jessie you would think but that whole bit with the lez from friends at the end has introduced something completely new into the mix. Does he want some sort of revenge on them or does he just want to show the world that he's not the monster that everyone now believes he is?

Walt's Heisenberg persona stemmed from his first initial shun from Grey Matter technology, when they were nominated for a Nobel Prize and he wasn't included as part of the research team. This started his desire to be respected and acclaimed, and we've seen it time and time again when he's not given appropriate respect he turns into Heisenberg. HIs final talk with Sol highlighted this again, others taking what is his, in this case he refers to his 'life's work' now as his meth money and family, and vows revenge on the nazi gang.

He seems to calm and calm and almost realise he's dead and gone in the months he's in the cabin, and has almost completely gave up when his call with Jnr ends, virtually handing himself over to the police with his open call. but when hearing the Grey team on TV, it stirs Heisenberg once more, going back to the start of all his frustration, and its clear he is going to take revenge on the Nazi group for taking his money and killing Hank. I don't think we'll see Walt taking revenge on the Grey Matter team as you suggest, but it was mearly a catalyst for his final push next week.

  3. He's signed 14 players, sold their best, hired a Director of Football & an entire backroom staff,

Sacking him now is as bad as hiring him in the first place.

Completely this! Came on to write the exact same thing, how you can allow a manager to sign almost a full new team including subs and then say 'nah, he's not the write guy for us' is beyond me. Anyone must realise you sign that many players and its not going to be instant, least of all the guys who splashed the cash out in support.

  4. Naah, you clearly said you'd sub him for that incident alone. If you want a scape goat, choose Debuchy. He is fucking dire.

Debuchy is no better than simpson at defending, always gets sold by his man and looses half a yard in a sprint down the flank before he realises where the attacker has went, and teams are starting to cotton on to this, West Ham a few weeks back and now Hull who were playing balls over his way all through the first half, and with Ben Arfa in front of him tbf he's not disciplined enough to track players and not the ball.

  5. two shots on target yesterday. Granted we completely wasted the last 15 minutes of the game by booting long balls up at a defense who were lapping it up all day long, but we really should be testing keepers more often at home and with the likes of Remy and Cisse able to pounce on loose

  6. I had a laugh at that vid, then clicked the fanzone one that was offered after. Gave me a good chuckle too....

    "Still get rid!"

Haha forgot how funny some of the Fanzone's can be, still remember the toon v mackems one where owen scored early on and the geordie lad starts pummelling the mackem with a blow up hammer!

  7. We got rid of Demba Ba, since we got rid of Demba Ba, we haven't been able to play like that since Demba left, Demba shops at Morrisons, I'm LinkedIn to Demba Ba

Haven't you all been listening to a word Pardew has been saying!? Forget tactics, money, owners, Demba ba left us! The sooner we all realise this the better!

  8.

How thick are they? Discussing whether Walt knew the police were listening on the phone?

It was blatant what was happening there. I thought it went a little too far in Walt shouting "It was all me" rather than keeping it a subtle barrage of abuse, which he is clever enough to do. But it seems Americans, even then, found it too subtle to be sure if he was actually putting it on or not...even as he disguised his weeping throughout.

agreed. I couldn't quite read Skyler during the scene to understand whether she knew what Walt was doing, but I hope you get some confirmation that she understood he was taking all the blame away from her (I'm sure she did understand it at the time, but i was so engrossed with what Walt was saying that I didn't really pay much attention to Skyler).

  9. had a bad run of form towards the back end of last season, not helped in the least by inconsistant formations and players around him with a lack of service bar punts up the middle of the pitch towards him.

Service and overall surrounding play is improving game by game this season, and if we can keep the trio of Remy / BArfa / Gouffran fit I can see the goals starting to rack up for Cisse.

  10. If you were in the mindset of that being the last episode, you could kind of see it as being such, you might be annoyed that you didnt get to see Walts flas-forward come to reality, but it had lots of plot leads summed up in this episode, and both main characters had an ending as such, Walt going rogue and Jesse trapped in another situation.

From all the talk from the cast / Gilligan tough, the ending is supposed to blow our minds, and they've lived up to everything so far. Never been this excited to see the end of a series before!!
