The original vote (that she wanted to succeed), was that no deal on the 29th March was ruled out. That wouldn’t stop us leaving on no deal at a later date. However, before it was voted on, it was amended by Parliament to rule out no deal forever. That’s why she then wanted it to fail.

So one rumour is the ERG’s plan is a 1-2 year extension which allows them plenty of time to replace May with a brexiteer and start again.
