Basically just bored with all at the minute. Bored with the last couple of months of May (TM), bored with the prospects of the leadership contest, bored with the labour leadership and bored by the lack of any resolution on the horizon. Overjoyed at the potential football news which seems to have formed up a bit today. Havent decided on a favourite for Tory leader but certainly not keen on the likes of Hunt, Boris or Jarvid. Possibly think Gove could be the one to plot a sensible course forward but struggle to see anyone but Boris getting voted in by the blue rinse brigade. As things stand, I’m not sure a GE or PV will resolve this. My wish list now would for Corbyn / McDonnel to make way for someone like Rayner / Watson, them to work honestly with the new Tory leadership to agree a deal, that deal vs remain put to a final PV and get back to fighting politics on domestic policies.

Just angry or angry and pissed? Do you ever read any of the bile you post over and over again? You have zero tolerance for anyone who doesn’t think like you. You try to pigeon hole 17.4 million people into the various sneering attributes that makes you feel better about yourself. You really do come across as an awful person. You are extremely neurotic and seem to have so little self awareness of just how vile you come across. Even now you have allowed yourself to build a few far right attention seekers into some new clear and present danger to society. I told you over a year ago that if Brexit didn’t happen then the vast majority of leavers would shrug and get on with their lives. The Tommy Robinson’s of this world will quickly go back to their sad edl lives. You really should get a hobby and stop posting so much hatred.

The thick racist lot have always been there and always will. They’ll never take hold in this country though as they are doing in Europe. It’s just not British.
-
I don’t think they did.
-
No he didn’t. Nothing to do with them. He spoke at the UKIP (which is now just BNP).
-
Given Conservative HQ have just started tweeting out messages like this, I think it’s a fair bet Brenda’s going to be pissed.
-
Today is the political equivalent of transfer deadline day. Nothing to see here. May will be crushed again, year extension, new Tory leader, the Autumn GE.
-
If your upset at the Conservatives you might want to reconsider moving to countries where the far right is surging.
-
Its a token vote (so complicated the attorney general will be opening it. Basically, the idea is that if we pass it tomorrow then it meets the EU’s deadline for the extension to 22nd May. However because it’s not attached to the political declaration, it can’t pass U.K. law. So if it passes tomorrow, we have til 22nd May to argue with each other. If it doesn’t, we’ve got til 12th April. That means we’ll have to seek a long extension within 14 days and sign up to EU elections etc. ERG and DUP both happy with long extension as allows time for brexiteer leader etc.
-
So deal not backed tomorrow then into long extension, new Tory leader and GE.
-
Seems as though MV3 will be the withdrawal agreement only.
-
Excuse me I said last Friday that May would resign within 7 days. Only an extremely mean spirited person wouldn’t give me that one.
-
Fucking hell
-
Surely May now goes a lot sooner / tonight?
-
A lot may depend on how the votes go tonight. Should no one plan look like a big winner then you may get the Labour leavers finally backing it. Still think it won’t go through.
-
Talk is that the DUP will abstain. Can’t see anyway she gets enough votes to get it through.
-
No DUP statement anymore
-
DUP Statement at 6 ???
-
-
So in an affirmative referendum, would the government now be voting (leave) their deal? Would Labour have to come out as a remain party?
-
The most sensible one of the lot.

All seems a bit pointless now as all of these options still mean signing up to Theresa Mays withdrawal agreement. All they are now voting on is the political declaration which is which is non binding anyway and allowed for any of these options to be negotiated in phase 2. Absolute stupidity pursuing a soft Brexit rather than just being honest and revoking article 50.
