  1. Ah, that’s it, it must have been all those Lib Dem’s.
  2. It doesn’t work like that necessarily. “Any man who is under 30, and is not a liberal, has no heart; and any man who is over 30, and is not a conservative, has no brains.” As I’ve said though, if we have a 2nd ref I’d vote remain. I have to admit I was wrong and believed the lies When they said this is a once in a lifetime vote and we’ll implement the result. Seriously though, the establishment and elite are not going to allow so the sooner they just revoke article 50 the better.
  3. 61% of Labour constituencies voted to leave. What don’t you understand
  4. So let’s get this right, in working class areas like Sunderland up and down the country, where Labour and Libs have over 70% of the vote, it was the Tories what won it Have a word with yourself, the Labour metropolitan areas like London and labour middle class voted remain, the labour working class voted out. Everyone knows JC’s problems with a pro remain membership and a pro leave working class electorate.
  5. 1. I didn’t say they did. 2. Poll after poll shows working class Labour voted leave. This is the main reason Labour are terrified to come out for a PV. 3. “Would have”? Are you still prepared to compromise.
  6. For my part I’m exposed to all aspects of British opinion from people on benefits to company directors. I understand the arguments for remain and Brexit. Im not sure what you’re exposure is. I don’t know if you’re an ex-pat or a German toon fan. But simply disregarding the majority view of the U.K. electorate as @Renton frequently does, sort of gives you a view to why we are where we are. Brexit May well bring problems but as always, we would work around them. The EU would quite quickly agree to a deal and life would go on. Im pretty sure if social media and Corbyn were around in 1939 then we’d all be Germans now.
  7. He wasn’t wrong. Lib Dem’s asked for an in/ out referendum first, Labour continuously promised a vote on the EU under Blair but fucked over the voters, Cameron put it in his manifesto and was elected on it. That’s fucking democracy right there The problem has been that the new elite, coffee drinking, vegan Greggs, Islington set has decided the public was wrong. And here we are. Working class Labour voters want out, but Labour coffee drinking members want in. The party is fucked. In a GE they would promise Brexit, but in a PV they would promise remain. The Tories are equally fucked because of the ERG that want out and the remainder would be quite happy with a deal or remain. A GE isn’t going to solve things and imo a PV would result in a bigger win for remain. A BRINO / Norway is a waste of time. We might as well stop in. A PV would enhance Scotland’s demand for another PV. Were fucked. You won’t compromise and neither will the brexiteers. I’ve no idea of a sensible way out.
  8. No more than anyone else on here. I didn’t foresee JC trying to fuck over the country for personal gain. I was wrong, move on.
  9. I mean 1, it’s JC’s fault. 2. This is/was a generational project. It matters little to our long term success whether these are ready on day 1 or year 1. Have some faith in your UK.
  10. I listened to about 10 minutes of this (until a £10 note rolled past my parked position) and it was the dullest, rambling speech he’s ever given. Yesterday’s man and only he doesn’t know it.
  11. Hold on there Mandelson, I said last year that if they couldn’t deliver the Brexit (CLEARLY LAID OUT BY ME MANY TIMES), then I would vote remain in a 2nd ref. While Im here, what a marvellous QT last night. Labour Party fully exposed for the charlatans they are. Also, Fiona Bruce is a fantastic appointment. Lets be honest, if Labour had not been taken over by the loony coffee drinking London set then it would still be a party of the working class and Brexit would be sorted.
  12. Corbyn Can’t even remember when to sit down.
  13. Mots understandable the ERG voting against as they want WTO terms. Lets remember, this was just the withdrawal agreement sorting out citizens rights, the money we owe and safeguarding NI. The political declaration was vague as hell which could (through Parliament) have been anything from a free trade deal to Norway plus. We could now be sitting here with it mostly over, a two or three year transition and back to relatively normal politics. But oh no, Corbyn wants to create as much chaos as possible, bring the country to its knees in utter desperation to get into a job that he’s vastly ill equipped to do and would absolutely hate. Pure charlatan and carry’s most of the blame for where we are. Hes destroyed the Labour Party and no wants to take us all with him.
  14. I am, but hey, I’m a democrat. You should give it a go.
  15. Hey, no good bleating now. A deal was on the table, Corbyn plays games and here we are. Nice to see him rightly condemned from all party’s, including his own.
  16. indeed. Happy to talk to the IRA or Hamas but not the U.K. PM. Im sure it will play well with the cult but not the public he needs to win over if ever he wants to be PM.
  17. Lots of the journos tonight saying the talk is of a March 21st General Election.
  18. Who would want to take over a minority government to deal with Brexit
