  1. Thats promising, but is it true? There seems to be no mention on yougov or google news or any journalists on twitter. I would have expected the media to be all over it like a rash?
  2. Eh? Putting aside your remain option, Labour could easily sign up to a very soft Norway plus type deal that the EU would snap your hand off for.
  3. The only thing he would be backing is the withdrawal agreement, the deal is a blank canvas that he could paint as he likes.
  4. Come on then clever cunt, what’s the flaw in this plan?
  5. He’s missing an absolute trick. Back Mays withdrawal agreement which would lose the Tories the DUP, which would lose the Tories power. Then Labour would be free to negotiate the future deal any way they wanted. Customs union, single market access, workers rights...... No downside.
  6. Another solid performance by her last night on QT. Step aside Jezza.
  7. Most of the world works by sovereign country’s having trading arrangements with other country’s that they wish to trade with. They don’t have to be part of a bloated political structure. Its going to be a very fast changing world over the next 10-20 years, particularly with the changes AI are going to have. Much better to be a nimble country able to quickly make decisions, arrange deals (that are targeted at our needs, not 27 other country’s) and pass laws that allows our governments to act in our interests.
  8. Well you would think it was spot on because you too are a self confessed europhile. Unfortunately it’s the minority view within the U.K.
  9. Oh joy, another foreign europhile telling us what Brexit is really about.
  10. Nice try, but his maths are spot on. Yours however
  11. But that’s not what he’s saying He’s saying exactly the same as the ONS, the FT, the Guardian, the beeb. In other words, he’s right.
  12. ???? I’m probably woooshed, but he’s just confirming the news that has been everywhere from the FT to the Guardian this week?
  13. Think she’ll get to have a little longer in Europe but the men in grey suits will be having a word shortly.
  14. I disagree. The vast majority of the British electorate are a pretty fair lot and would move on pretty quickly. Sure, you’d have a few extremes but not enough to form a movement.
  15. She had a very good PMQ’s (Corbyn awful), she still has to decide what she is going to pivot to as her deal seems dead.
  16. Mays deal passes = GE Brexiteer PM = GE Mays options are EFTA or 2nd Ref
  17. ???? That’s why if Labour vote for it, it forces a GE
  18. Totally agree. I suggested this way out a few weeks ago.
  19. Well if Mays deal passes, DUP drop support, May can’t govern = General election.
  20. If May wins, her deal does not get through unless Labour back down. But if her deal goes through, DUP pull support. If May wins and deal falls, she could call a 2nd ref blaming Labour. Therefore quickest route to a GE for Labour is backing May.
  21. If they play their cards right then they can stop a brexiteer getting into the last 2
