  1. News? I don’t think much has changed when I mentioned this looks just about done and that May was getting the budget out of the way before finalising the deal, politically, as is playing out right now.
  2. So economic data is only important when remainers post it ok.
  3. Latest quarter figures released today, UK gdp growing 3 x faster than Eurozone.
  4. Ofcourse, but not everybody knows this is just theatrics
  5. Stick with me son Jim and stay ahead of the news
  6. And just to add to this, here are a few tweets from my timeline tonight demonstrating how it’s moving fast and it’s mainly the legal detail that’s being ironed out.
  7. Not at all, but you honestly don’t expect me to have the final text they have agreed on the Irish border do you? I’d have Sam Coates job if I was that well sourced
  8. The only people involved are those in the “tunnel”
  9. But that’s exactly what I believe she is doing which is why it will be very hard to vote against. The ERG will no Its this or possibly no Brexit and this way they can continue the scrap over the future deal for the next 2 years when Mays gone. It will be presented as a magnificent breakthrough and harmony between U.K. and EU 27. Its going to be very hard for an awful lot of leave constituency labour MP’s to vote down. As I’ve said before I think the deals done and it’s just a case of getting the budget out of the way and a few theatrics.
  10. You’re pretty naive if you can’t see how this will be framed come the vote. When May agreed the withdrawal agreement with the EU there will be euphoria in the media, here and in the EU. Barnier, Junker, Tusk, Merkel and Macron will be celebrating and congratulating each other. EU leaders will be frothing about our future relationship. British business will be buzzing and Christmas will almost be upon us. Peace and goodwill to all men and then up steps Jeremy.....
  11. Well quite possibly yes given the Soubrys and Grieves etc of this world. Have you paid any attention over the last 12 months
  12. I don’t defend him at all. Just helping you with how the law works.
  13. I think it’s likely the ERG will vote it through as they are more interested in the future deal, than the withdrawal deal. Once through, May will be gone and they might get a brexiteer as PM or at the very least have 2 years to shape the future deal. I struggle to see any circumstances where the conservatives will vote for a snap election.
  14. Sir, can I suggest over flatbreads tonight you ask your wife to explain the rule of innocent until proven guilty.
  15. I think you’re confused, again. A refferendum was agreed by parliament, the people voted to leave the EU, parliament voted to trigger Article 50. As instructed by the voters and parliament, the government have agreed the withdraw agreement with 27 other countries. If Labour then block Brexit, that’s for them to own the consequences.
  16. That will just lead to no deal. When it comes to the vote, Labour won’t want to go down in history as the party that caused no deal.
