  1. Understandable given all the scare tactics used by Remainers pre and post Brexit.
  2. Ford, Vauxhall and Nissan have all publicly stated they will be here after Brexit. Yesterday we had record trade figures with exports rising 10% in the last 12 months. HSBC say that exports this year will be the biggest growth since 2011. The U.K. manufacturing industry posts record profitability results and announces positive outlook from members. The immediate recession following a vote to leave never happened. The punishment budget following a vote to leave never happened. But yes, let’s have a hyperthetical discussion based on your latest UNSOURCED neurotic adventure.
  3. So what about all your friends from your Conservative supporting days? Btw it’s not that long ago that you applauding actions being taken against people on benefits by the Tories. And while we’re on, the left are fast becoming the nasty face of british politics with their daily anti Semitic tricks and tin hat ideas.
  4. I think you both need to expand your circle of friends.
  5. I want to do neither, so yes.
  6. Its not the destination, it’s the journey.
  7. Go on I’ll bite. I progressed from the warehouse to be Director of a PLC and studied corporate governance at Durham University. So take you’re Dunning-Kruger stuff and stick it up your arse
  8. I dont think there is any upside to this btw. The world shouldn’t walk by at the use of chemical weapons but no action is going to change the outcome in Syria.
  9. Well I think it is. If it worked as intended, as the worlds police, then there would be no need for separate action by the likes of USA or France etc.
  10. I suppose from his POV he will consider his twitter stance against “Rocket Man” has lead to the first real chance of hope in North / South Korea.
  11. At the root of all this is a dysfunctional United Nations.
  12. I am. Congrats on your new castle as well.
  13. 30 years off not enough new houses and a lack of new council houses are the main culprit pure and simple.
  14. The rise of the housing market is not down to buyers joining a mailing list. It’s down to lack of new houses over the last 30 years and a growing population. Pure old supply and demand. How any young people manage these days without Mam and Dads help is a mystery. Massive council build is needed.
  15. Literally just checked the wardrobe. Must have chucked it. Cherry Tomato was on standby.
  16. Get yourself with Jugs Beeny. £645 all in (other packages available). https://www.tepilo.com/
  17. If you put your house up for sale for £300,000 and the estate agent sends me to view it, you are going to pretty well assume that I can pay the £300,000. As for registered buyers, quite often you will get the call long before the board goes up. ( Though I guess your arsey way with people shines through and you hear nothing)
  18. Nah, simply registering your intent with an estate agent has been going on for years and doesn’t lead to the overall effect of the housing market. At the end of the day you choose to register knowing full well that the agents duty is to the vendor. It also depends where you’re buying and what the market is like. If you want to beat the crowd and get a chance before a board goes up then registering is a must. If I was after a house in a set area and was keen, then I would have no problem giving an agent by budget. All he can then do is give me first bite at the cherry having matched me up. From their it’s all down to negogiation. *Seller assumes I have that budget anyway or I wouldn’t be viewing* Market forces then determine the rest. If I know property’s like the one Im after are rare to the market and it’s the one I want, then I’m not going to mess around.
  19. I don’t see the big deal really. At the end of the day their job is to match up buyer and seller. Buyer has a budget, seller has a price, it’s still upto to the buyer whether he likes your house once he has a look around and whether he’s willing to offer his full budget. The whole idea of being a “registered buyer” is to try and jump the queue before the property hits the shop window / website. Much better to have an agent with waiting buyers.
  20. What am I missing here? Estate agents quite regularly have lists of people looking for something in a particular area and what their budget is? Surely you just get a few quotes, and then price it accordingly. I don’t disagree that they get money for nowt though. What about sarah beenys online firm. They are certainly hammering the TV ads at the minute.
  21. Syria chemical attacks. Should we get involved as part of a coalition or stay away?
  22. Been using it last few nights to watch West Wing. No issues.
