Dont know if you are still having problems with this (and not sure if I’ve mentioned it), but I had quite a few problems with a herniated disc 3’ish years ago and all the referred pain issues in arms, fingers, shoulders etc. Went through the usual tablets, physio and finally a consultant who wanted to replace the disc with a metal one. Anyway he warned me I would have less movement, could lose the use of my arm or could be paralysed from the neck down. I agreed to the op, went home and started googling like fuck. I found this aussie on YouTube who has a practice on some tropical island and he had two exercises for herniated discs that “cured” me in 2 weeks. When I say cured, the pain went I cancelled the op and am now 3 or 4 years down the line. I get the odd twinge now and again but mostly still symptom free. If you are still having issues (and it’s related to a herniated disc), let me know and I’ll chuck the link up.

No silly, my metal detecting club has a community online so we can see when digs are on etc But the Boldon community is great for when thieves are about or when events are taking place or when the villagers need to come together to save the library from vicious labour cuts etc. Actually I bumped a park car and put that on the community to trace the owner. As I said, more used by old farts these days.

I do think however Facebook is an excellent community tool for keeping touch. I’m in a metal detecting community (obvs) and in my village we have a online community (well moderated) which is great for local issues / events / warnings etc. Just not cool for cats anymore (if it ever was).

@Renton I honestly can not see what has happened this week that has reversed your outlook. In December we held a bit of paper up and kicked Ireland down the road. We did the same yesterday. May has been crystal clear, No hard border in Ireland, no border in the Irish Sea. “No British PM could ever sign up to that”. As for Dover, the Governments position (as revealed on QT) is that nothing will change at Dover. We will simply just carry out the same spot checks as we do now. The EU can’t make us stop lorries. Our plan is to be aligned to the EU so in reality there will be nothing unpleasant on the wagons.

It fucking hasn’t “become” legislation Its still just a bit of paper as it was in December. Nothing legally has changed whatsoever. You said it would “become” legislation before phase 2 talks. It hasn’t.
