I was told off by my wife the other week when I mentioned Cummings taking the piss. They have a nephew who works in the public sector and his wife who works for the NHS. At the start of lockdown they were asking her about the situation and she said she knew colleagues who were staying at hotels due to lack of PPE. Aunt replied 'ooooo isn't it awful' 2+2. Just doesn't fucking happen. But they're not alone, that's the sad thing.

During this lockdown we have been doing a family Zoom quiz on a Saturday evening. It's been alright and a chance to see the in laws. But fuck me. I can't do it any more. Wife's Aunt & Uncle are both Tories and both fucking clueless. They're both 80 but fucking blind to what is happening. They live on the outskirts of Derby. They're very comfortable financially but live a modest life. They have lived in the same house for 50+ years and the area they live in is now pretty run down. The high street has more boarded up shops than ones open and it's like going back 30+ years. They moan like fuck how stuff has gone down hill. They read the Mail and just fucking believe everything fucking thing thats written in it. They have never even left the fucking country as she's scared of flying but fuck me she's a world expert of foreign affairs by all accounts. Last night at the end of our quiz, they asked what everyone was doing for the rest of the weekend. She said 'Hope you're not off to the beach' I laughed and said not to blame them, blame the government. To which I hit a nerve. Fuck me. Just fuck off.
