  1. Cutting your cloth to fit to ensure the long term survival and growth of your club in an organic fashion. wtf are you on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Organic_growth I mean he fits with Ashleys plans to make you self sufficient. You will only reap the rewards long term. he doesnt fit ashleys plan to buy youth or players going into their primes Quite some plan he should patent it....Oh wait....
  2. Rafa has never and won’t ever be a makeweight, Torres is right, you’re talking bollocks. Maybe the fact that he’s only finished 4th once in his four years at the helm proves he doesn’t settle for it? Keegan had plenty of money to spend and he still couldn’t do it, and he wasn’t even faced with two clubs who could mega outspend him, one who could even outspend any club on the planet. Keegan definitely won’t last the year out. The spine players Rafa has brought in have been brilliant buys and I often read on this board that it will take time with your own club, why can’t you see it’s the same for Benitez? He hasn’t bought one high priced player who has failed, and he’s bought a few quality bargains in Skirtl and Agger who will hold the middle of defence for the next 10 years. In Reina, Dossena(hopefully) Skirtl, Agger, Mascherano, Babel, Kuyt and Torres, supplemented with Carra and Gerrard Rafa is building a team of quality. That he can’t do it all at once is quite obvious, we don’t have the money, so he fills the squad out with 2nd or 3rd tier players so we at least have a full squad. Take the best two players from any team and they’ll more than likely fail, it’s a ridiculous comment. Shockingly clueless.
  3. With all the press conspiracy theories flying around regarding Keegan, how long do you think his current reign will last? I think he'll do the full 3yrs.
  4. Bentley already has a new club mate I think he's going to be a bit out of NUFCs price bracket this window any how.
  5. The sex change did for him apparently.
  6. Basically Alex no longer posting and the disappearance of other 'characters' has hurt N.O. a bit. The debates are getting too samey 30 posts in.
  7. You can't change the future. No man, there was a thread already created for it, and then J56 created another and now another one. Your 'authorataeee' is being questioned.
  8. Where to play? This may be a guess but.... Midfield? Spidey is the drift in from left tho. Aye fair do's. Fuck him.

  10. Most of the people I enjoyed banter with have left or post little nowadays. I pop in now and again for 'special threads'.
  11. I have a feeling Villa will bid. They've been quoted £20m for Bentley and no way O'Neill is going to pay that.
  12. We're crying out for an intelligent player with passing attributes and timing in the middle.
  13. Times: Everton are willing to break their transfer record to sign João Moutinho from Sporting Lisbon in a deal that could cost £18million. The Portugal playmaker, 21, has been tracked by Manchester United, who remain interested in Miguel Veloso, but Sporting claim that they will sell neither. “The two players are in our squad and we have no need to sell as we are financially secure,” Filipe Soares Franco, the Sporting president, said.
  14. I've got no probs with getting shot of Milner as long as the money is used wisely. No pun intended.
  15. Charlie is on another planet compared to Meewner, especially in the middle imo. Don't know what that's based on because he's never actually played that well in the middle. I prefer N'Zogbia but he's so overrated in some quarters it's untrue. i thought he did alright in the middle when we were a midfield 3 - iirc in the tail end of roeder's first season in charge Probably drink more than I should before games these days but I thought he played on the left of a four mostly in the spell you're on about.
