  1. yeah I saw it was on again, bbc3 or 4 I think. I really enjoyed that series. I loved the way Dr Cox explained things easily so dimwits like me could follow He is very pretty on the eye too, just as lovely as the stars BBC 4 sounds more like, thinking about it. Can't get over how he was the keyboard player in D:Ream like. Noooo?!?! I shit thee not http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Cox_(physicist) I'd just read that. I cant believe it I fancy him even more now! He is nearly 43 too, he doesnt look it. I see he has a second series coming to BBC2 soon.... Wonders of the Universe. I will look out for that. Dont you just feel abit envious of people sometimes, who have achieved so much in their young lives?!

  5. aw tell us Stevie, go on give us a hint and cheer these miserable feckers up! It's a family thing pet, quite personal. Funny though. oh well thats fair enough...at least someone else is cheerful today!
  6. we spent £180 in Sainsburys just before Crimbo and then £150 yesterday! Just me, hubby and my son here! My sis came for a couple days but eats next to nothing anyway and bought stuff up with her Christmas is just an excuse to behave like pigs I think! It takes me ages to eat normally again

  8. I missed it. Is it being repeated? its being shown on Stargazing live tonight Recorded that to watch with the bairn. Was it canny or geeky? tbh CT, alittle bit of both. I enjoyed it though. but then I like Dara and Dr Brian and I am really into anything to do with the skies! I was at a mates house the other night out in his conservatory in the dark peering into the sky to try and see Jupiter. All serious like. I went off to get a drink and came back to find hubby zooming in on a local hotel watching people go about their business in their hotel rooms
  9. I think it was 1999, and luckily I had a fairly good view of it here. The clouds had cleared alittle. I will never forget that day. I remember seeing it on Eastenders but I'm a little sketchy on the details. Eastenders? are you ok today alex? It was (skillfully as you can imagine) woven into the storyline. I remember Ian Beale on the beach looking skyward but that's about it. Isnt it funny the things that stick in our minds?!
  10. I rekon I'll be dead by then Don't worry, it'll probably be cloudy anyway. Git!

  17. Salad for lunch then is it Porky? Im on my healthy eating now and now Im feeling better Im walking a couple mile a day again. I hate the Xmas weight! Sadly porky is about right at the minute. Definitely a light lunch today though. I took one of the cookies btw. mmm choc chip? Mind I ate a piece of home-made quiche at work last night and it was bloody lovely I swear I had more willpower giving up the cigs than giving up choccy or biccys
  18. I have more self respect thank god! (its happens with age)
  19. Anyone see the partial eclipse of the Sun this morning? I went to see it after work earlier but it was too cloudy to see much I was really disapointed. Talking of the skies, did anyone watch the Stargazing live last night? I quite enjoyed it.....mind, that might be cos Dr Brian is fecking gorgeous

  21. I'm glad you're back Snakey xx I love you middle-aged people on here so loyal to each other What's your favourite thing on a man, be as rude as you like God Stevie, middle-aged sounds really decrepid And depressing I hope I dont look it! Ok seriously, my favourite thing on a man isnt rude...its his hair and face, the combination. And I honestly think most woman would agree. You all know I like ginners (my avatar) or very dark haired men, preferably longish hair and I dont mean Bill Bailey lookalikes here If the hair is thinning then shaved is much sexier. I dunno, hair has always been important to me....I like to run my hands through it during sex Im not sure what makes me feel attracted to a man, its more complicated for woman. I can look at a guy who has a nice body or a sexy butt and acknowledge that but it doesnt mean he does a thing for me or that I want to fuck him stupid! I find confident, even slightly arrogant men do it for me. I hate wimps! So there you go, all I can say is I believe most woman make up their minds in 30 seconds whether they would ever sleep with a guy....either you're attracted and there are sparks or nothing at all. Its an instant thing I rekon. Well, thats how it is for me anyhow. Course Ive met men before that have the look I like but are complete wankers once you get to know them, so its the whole package thats required!! I like men who make me laugh..... Thats why I adore Gemmill and Snakey on here cos they make me smile About 28 seconds longer than a man I'd say. You rekon? Thing is though most (not all ) men would shag almost anything...but woman are much pickier. Thats the truth of it! I'd have to be really crazy about a guy to sleep with him.
