I detest night clubs, and thats not cos of my age, i've never really liked them. Very over-rated in my view. You have to queue for ages then are charged a ridiculous fee to get in. Packed full of sweaty drunken letchy men, plus you have to queue for ages to get a very overpriced drink Crap music aswell!!! Give me a good pub with a pool table, which serves good food, sat with friends listening to a live band anyday!

Oh i adored that book. I was a book-worm too, still am really. I grew up reading all Enid Blyton books, loved the famous five, (way better than secret seven)! I can remember getting my pocket money on a saturday, going into town and buying either a Mallory Towers or St Clares book One book really sticks in my mind, 'mystery of the burnt cottage' or something like that, i think that was Enid Blyton too. I also bought a famous five book for sentimental reasons the other day It contains four stories and as soon as i got it home, my sister nicked it and i havent had it back yet!! I loved pippi longstocking and paddington bear books. Later on i read Roald Dahl books and fell in love with The Hobbit, where my love for all Tolkien's work began. Also loved Little Woman, the brontes books and Jane Austen, i've lost count how many times ive read Pride and Prejudice and sense and sensibility.

Did you see Megadeth at Download Festival? 1879 Hi skeletor, Noooooooooooo i didnt missed it, do you know if it will be repeated? and how did they sound/look? 1881 It was repeated a few times on Scuzz/Kerrang I think. They were awesome. Got kicked in the head for my troubles but it was so great. Wake Up Dead particularly standing out. Dave did look rather old though. It was supposed to be their last ever show in this country but at the end he said after the reception the whole crowd gave, how could they not come back. So you didn't miss their last ever show at least! Them and Wednesday 13 were the only real highlights of Friday. 1884 damn it, why do i miss everything? I hope its repeated again, im determind to watch it. Kicked in the head? were you in the mosh pit? tut tut Dave looks old? that'll do for me, you know i adore ginners! Did they do 'In my darkest hour?'

errrrrm yes i think thats abit clearer now Thank you. I think i used to post on the old toonchat a long time ago, but got pissed off with people thinking i was another toonraider, then i joined HTT, which i liked except the chat section was very quiet, so becoming alittle bored i joined skunkers and eventually newcastle online (which i like) "phew" I've never really 'settled' on a toon forum properly,(my main forum being an Ipswich one) so i'm hoping this will be the last (and the best) Toon one i join!

Hello everyone, thanks for the invite Scottish Mag. I have so many forums in my favourites now maybe this one will feel like 'home' Looks good anyway. I don't mind admitting to being slightly confused by some of the remarks made referring to the other forum, i havent been on much lately, have i missed something significant? or was this forum created just to give people more choice? Sorry if i sound ignorant, i suppose i don't know many of you well, so im confused by yet another toon board being started! Please could someone explain the basic outline/history of the toon forums for me? It would stop me having nightmares
