  1. Well, it just happend to be on in the room, you know..... Just be honest with him mate. You were meant to be going to the pub with some mates but now you have to save some extra pennies for the summer piss up. Tell it like it is...
  2. Fuck off and watch it then...
  3. Favourite cheese is dairylea lmao
  4. The twins hate Chavs, usually peoples hates are what we end up with. Excellant the show has been crying out for a Geordie Charv or Glaswegian Ned for ages now...
  5. Exactly. Although, it likely would mean that the fuckwit Emre would stay (who I think is on even bigger wages)... I would get rid of him too. I know it does not seem realistic to clear the best part of a whole team out but with the exception of a few players I couldn't care less how many leave the club. We stand by them through blind faith and past reputations but with the exception of the likes of Given, Taylor, Nobby, Butt and Milner (though I still think even he is overhyped at times) and one or two others I wouldn't be too sad to see many of the others go. I realise we need to play decent wages for decent players but the wages we pay are ridiculous with talk of Parker on 55, Emre on 60, Carr on 35, Luque 40, Dyer 85? and even wee Mickey Owens alleged 110 is obscene and not value for money regardless of how good he is when fit. None of these and many others regardless what we want to believe are good enough for these sorts of salaries and one of the reasons we are in the mess we are in now.
  6. I think the criticism of Parker is harsh at times, however I would be tempted to do the deal as whilst I think he could still do a job I feel hes another at the club whose wage does not represent his ability. Even if we do have money to spend we need to stop spending silly wages on people who do not deserve it and if talk of Parker being on 55 grand a week are true then I think we could get someone else to do as good a job/or better on a far lesser salary.
  7. Ray Ranson has withdrawn his bid to buy Manchester City. But he has reserved the right to renew his interest in the future should former Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra make a formal offer. Ranson made a revised proposal to the Manchester City board with a view to mounting a takeover bid in April. That came after the 46-year-old former City full-back's first offer for the club - believed to be £90m - did not meet with the City board's approval.
  8. Alain Perrin has been named Lyon coach, replacing Gerard Houllier, who quit last week after two years in charge. Former Portsmouth coach Perrin, 50, steered Sochaux to their first French Cup win since 1937 earlier this month. And it is believed Perrin has signed a two-year deal, while Lyon have paid Sochaux £340,000 in compensation. Former France and Liverpool manager Houllier, 59, had said on Friday he was leaving Lyon after leading them to two consecutive Ligue 1 titles.
  9. Do you have this weeks lottery numbers too?
  10. Ugly Mackems/Crumpy Gunt reckons he will be signing. If true I think he will be a canny player for us providing he calms down.
  11. AS Sammy Lee prepares to make the first key addition to his backroom team, it appears Sam Allardyce is still casting a large shadow over the Reebok. The new Wanderers boss is set to confirm one of the worst-kept secrets in football by announcing that he has head-hunted Frank McParland, currently the joint chief scout at Liverpool, to fill the newly-created role of general manager at the Reebok. Lee has raided his former club for the 58-year-old, whose meteoric rise from part-time academy coach to talent-spotting expert was recognised by successive Anfield managers, Gerard Houllier and Rafa Benitez. advertisement Lee has made it clear he does not want an assistant manager but instead wants a man to deal with off-field matters, leaving him free to spend the majority of his time with his players. News of the apppointment, which is expected to be made official in the next few days, coincides with increasing speculation that Allardyce is ready to unveil Mark Taylor, his head of sports science and medicine for more than six years at the Reebok, as the man he has chosen for a similar role at Newcastle. And it is now looking more likely than ever that performance director Mike Forde, whose expertise in sports psychology made him a highly-valued member of Allardyce's backroom team, will follow him to Tyneside, although that move could be held up by Wanderers' compensation demands. And that might not be the end of the asset stripping. A fortnight after his appointment as Magpies' boss, Allardyce is being strongly tipped to win the race for Tal Ben Haim, who is out of contract at the end of June. And, despite a last-ditch attempt by chairman Phil Gartside to persuade him to stay, he has shown no inclination to sign a new deal. Reports also suggest Allardyce has beaten Lee to the signature of Ghanaian midfielder Derek Boateng. The much-travelled 24-year-old, who plays for Ghana alongside Chelsea's Michael Essien, had an outstanding season with Israeli club, Beitar Jerusalem, and was rumoured to be high on Wanderers' wanted list. Despite losing two prominent members of his backroom staff, Lee is known to be delighted to have recruited McParland, a man he knows well from his Anfield days. The former BT business manager, who impressed with his work with the Liverpool academy, has been instrumental in helping restructure the Reds' entire scouting network and been influential in attracting some highly-rated young British-based players to Merseyside.

  13. The thought of you with your accent on the phone to some know-nowt Indian with his accent is quality. "Mr. Ritchie sir, one thousand apologies for your slow download speeds! Have you tried rebooting, Mr. Ritchie sir?" "REBOO'? AWW FUCKUN REBOO' YOOO PAL!" "Goodness gracious me!" Aye and they would understand your Gazza like voice "Alreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet...."
  14. If you go with BT you better hope you have no problems with it. I have been getting dial up speeds for a fortnight now and have been on to BT India every other night. I have been a customer with them for years now but even when it gets fixed I will be looking to go elsewhere as there is no way I could handle speaking to to their "customer service" again..
  15. Did Gago not just sign for Real in January and has played in most of their games? And he has played 11 games
  16. So you question why Baines would come here but think Bridge would?
  17. It would be an immense start. It would be outrageous by NUFC standards, identifying areas we need to improve our squad and quickly bringing in proven players for free and an up and coming player all in one go! Lets hope it happens! Aye and there is talk of Hyppia coming too. Bernard, Bramble, Moore and Sib or Baines, Hyppia, Ben Haim and Viduka? Its scary the difference in class between those sets of players.
