Baggio 0 Posted September 24, 2007 Share Posted September 24, 2007 Viduka was excellent yesterday, as was N'Zogbia, Beye and Nicky Butt. Smith seemed more involved than he has been lately but he couldn't hold his position out wide at all which often left Beye up against 2 players. Geremi is like the new Jermaine Jenas in that he only seems to be able to pass sideways and backwards, it would have made more sense to swap him and Smith over since we know he can play out wide and Smith kept drifting into the middle. Martins missed a sitter but I felt we looked better as a team when he came on, having him playing on the shoulder of the last man meant the game got stretched more making space for others.
