He's going well, but he needs to sort out his problem with playing 4-5 set matches as at his age he shouldn't be tiring/feeling ill/getting injured/cramp so easy and frequently.

But he definitely looks like a genuine prospect and since he isn't middle class English then loads of people won't hate him like they did with Henman.

Basically, if he does well he's British, otherwise he's Scottish :D

It's the other way on. His body isn't fully developed so he's not really ready to play 5 set matches.

Same way that boxers aren't ready for 15 rounds as soon as they start in the game.

Becker was defending his wimbeldon title younger than Murray is now, he managed 5 set epics, it just requires better training and coaching with stamina work. It may be he's not ready yet, but in other countries their young players always seem way ahead of ours.

Dunno, some people just develop earlier that's all. It really is a young man's game now though.

People's bodies develop at different rates though - look at Nadal vs. Murray. Or look at Rooney in football. The stamina will come but it'll take time. I reckon Gol's got it right, although there may be some work that he could do to help hurry things up.

Theres definitely more he could do/have done for him to work on stamina, he has the ability but i've seen him cramping up after 2 sets before and it will hold him back for a while.

If you played it you'd just spend all your cash on shares in Murray, as a token of your love.

Fair play to the lad though. Expect the backlash if he doesn't win Wimbledon next year.
