Her accent is TERRIBLE, and it's taken her and her stupid cunt husband 1.5 seasons to get to fucking Montana. And once he arrived, it took him 20 minutes to fix the problems of the last 1.5 seasons. Fuck off!

Gemmill 52244
Jerome Flynn ffs. I can almost excuse an American doing a bad Scottish accent cos they don't hear it much and they go for the full och aye Jimmy stereotype. But that cunt is actually British and that's what he served up. Even Mirren's was shite.
Alex 37701
Speaking of which, and I’ve only seen the trailer, Brosnan’s accent is horrific in Mobland. And he actually is Irish
The Fish 11398
Last One Laughing was one of the shows I've seen advertised all over the shop, but it just didn't look that good. So, when on one Saturday after the wife and kids had gone to bed and before MOTD started, I popped it on out of desperation. Genuinely one of the only tv shows I've laughed aloud to in fucking ages. Bob Mortimer is a national treasure. Edited April 15 by The Fish

And he actually is Irish I've watched the first two episodes (mainly because I'll watch anything with Tom Hardy in it with higher than average expectations) and aye it's fucking awful. Helen Mirren's is somehow worse. I can't tell if they are meant to be doing a traveller accent like Brad Pitt in Snatch, but it's fucking terrible either way. I can't wait for him to play Ron in the Thursday Murder Club film - a man who is a former union boss from London in the books. I can't see anything that could possibly go wrong.

Bob Mortimer is a national treasure. Have to agree with this. I wondered if it was going to be completely cringe but it was an absolute delight. The fact that Mortimer and Ayoade are each other’s Kryptonite just made it all the better. Have you watched all the episodes? The English one is by far the funniest. Irish is too zany, too many props. Canadian is... fine, I guess.
Gemmill 52244
The Irish one was fucking crap. I stopped after one episode where a bloke put cereal into his trouser pocket, then poured milk in, then ate cereal from his pocket with a spoon. And this was supposed to make other comedians unable to control their laughter. It might have that effect on a 3 year old.
ewerk 34101
Aye, I couldn't make it past the first episode of the Irish one. I only knew two of them so not exactly the cream of Irish comedic talent.
Ayatollah Hermione 15035
The Canadian one was even worse. They kept banging on about one of them being a comedy legend and the other contestants were saying how hard it was to keep it together when this bloke was offering up a total embarrassment of a comedy routine. I could have walked onto that set, stayed totally silent for the entire time and not even cracked a smile. Well, for the 2 hours I watched
Gemmill 52244
The other thing that was weird about the Irish one was Graham Norton was presenting by himself. And he came fucking steaming in in the first episode with his yellow card, and when they played the tape back this poor unfunny Irish bastard had MAYBE cracked a HINT of a smile for a fraction of a second. Norton was obviously shitting it that they'd filled the house with such a set of unfunny bastards that he was gonna have to start flashing cards around like Anthony Taylor to have any hope of ending this thing in 6 episodes.

catmag 469
Looks like I’ll probably swerve those other series then which is a shame cos I really liked the format. The addition of the surprise guests (won’t spoil it) just made it all the better too.
Gemmill 52244
Aye I was hopeful for the other ones too cos the format was so good, but the Irish one set me straight quick smart.
Ayatollah Hermione 15035
The Japanese one is the original and the couple of series of that I’ve watched are insane. Obviously there’s the language and cultural barrier but it had me buckled. Also on Prime IIRC Edited April 16 by Ayatollah Hermione
Alex 37701
I’ve gone down a rabbit hole (to the extent I might buy a YouTube subscription, to avoid those pesky adverts) in watching BBC Archive. I think there’s some of it but only a little bit on iPlayer. But there’s fucking weeks’ worth of clips (and whole programmes) on YouTube. This is an incredible interview btw:

The interface isn't as good as Spotify but it excels in live music. Well worth it imo.
Gemmill 52244
If you pay for any music subscription service, you can swap it out for YouTube Music. So you're getting ad-free YouTube plus YouTube Music. I pay 20 a month for a family subscription so the missus gets both as well. Obviously any kids could have the same.
