He was a good player for Depor last season, and he's scored a fair few goals and had some good performances in our reserves this season. If we sold him now we'll have blown a big wad of cash. We may as well try to get a return from our foolish investment, it's not as though his value on the market could drop anymore if he performs poorly. * - Actually don't give the 9 to anyone at the moment. He can put himself about though, and seems to give a shit, which seems to be more than some of them. I think Carroll's rawness can probably be attributed to not having enough playing time with the big lads and lack of good striker coaching. He has shown he can be good in the air, has shown good touches on the ball, and has shown he's not afraid to get stuck in which is what you like to see in a centre-forward.
