Irrelevant Nick KP 0
One good thing about Blatter. So far, he hasn't made us pay to watch the World Cup on TV, in the way that we have had to do with league matches for about 18 years. The above is a mistake on my part. It is thanks the the EU and not Blatter, that we don't have to pay to watch World Cup or Champions League final. http://www.ipworld.com/ipwo/doc/view.htm?i...;searchCode=SEC Edited May 31, 2011 by Nick-Kielce-Poland

Irrelevant Nick KP 0
Bullshilt. If that has been done, it's the EU that have done it. So you eitehr have to praise FIFA or the EU. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-12482371 http://www.ipworld.com/ipwo/doc/view.htm?i...;searchCode=SEC Edited May 31, 2011 by Nick-Kielce-Poland
Happy Face 27
Hasn't he railed for years against the UK governments refusal to take it off freeview?

Irrelevant Nick KP 0
No, he hasn't railed against the UK government, just agains the EU. It's the EU that has saved us from having to pay for the World Cup etc. http://www.ipworld.com/ipwo/doc/view.htm?i...;searchCode=SEC The above article proves it.
Meenzer 4,209
So not Blatter at all then.
Happy Face 27
Nice one Nick. If only you'd done the research BEFORE heaping on the praise.
Irrelevant Nick KP 0
It would seem I made a mistake about it being thanks to Blatter. It is thanks to the EU, and our membership of the EU. http://www.ipworld.com/ipwo/doc/view.htm?i...;searchCode=SEC

OTF 515
The good news is that now that there is absolutely nothing good about Blatter he can be taken out the back and appropriately shot. The pompousness and untouchable status of FIFA currently is a fucking joke and is completely against the spirit of the game, being a game for all people.
Happy Face 27
There's more than this one good thing about the EU though... http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/6455879.stm

Guest alex
Fifa certainly deserve praise, especially so at present. Well said again, Nick.
