Will the club just let him walk even though he still has 4 years on his contract.

Of course they will it means fuck all stupid me. They should say they'll stay until they get a better offer it would cut down the paperwork.

Park Life

Roma, Bayern Munich, PSG and Arsenal are all supposedly interested in Debuchy, maybes £15/20 million could be reached if there's a bidding war.

The club have put it abhat that they'll take 13m...

More than doubles what we paid for him. Ashley will be more than happy. Invest 5-6M in a replacement and the rest goes the same way the Carroll and Cabaye money went. Wonderful.

We could get back Shane and play him RB using his left foot with his back facing the opposition. The curving back passes into the keeper would be something else.

Happy Face

Get Simpson back, good business.

An English player with Premier League experience?

We couldn't afford the £14m minimum he would cost.

What's the fucking point? The £2-3mil profit is pocket change to Ashley and it will cost more than that to find an equal replacement!?

Who next? Krul? Sissoko?

I can understand players wanting CL football, but this cunt only signed for us 18 months ago fully aware that we aren't a Champions League team. If he's staying in the Premier League we should be charging them extra as well.

He was sold a dream of European footy, his mate was used as part of the con, the club then came out said we can't compete, don't want in Europa and have no interest in domestic cups, and sold said friend who got him here, of course he's thought "well fuck this"

He was totally and utterly sold a pack of lies lol

If that figures correct it feels like he's being given away. With the amount of interest I expected a bidding war having said that he was never going to stay once Cabaye got away.

I think we all know its a forgone conclusion that he's leaving hopefully it'll be for a lot more than £8 million.

It wouldn't matter if he left for 10 pence man.

At the end of the day does it matter how much he goes for? It's not as though it will make any difference to the availability of funds for transfers.

Yeah but 8 mill is peanuts for a top international whos seasoned in the PL. Its disgusting if true, I cant understand why we'd just give him away

I know what your saying but if we think like that they might as well give them away for nothing.

Aye, even though we won't reinvest it, at least commanding a high fee might act as a deterrent to clubs courting our players.
