Maybe, but take out Messi from Guardiola's Barcelona and tell me how they would have done. They were utterly dependent on him for the goals.

Maradona did the impossible and impossible almost went out of fashion cause he did it time and time again. Messi would last 2 games in the world Maradona played in.

Well that's a different argument. Also, it was a much more level playing field then. Same goes for comparing Clough to Mourinho tbh. Clough wouldn't be able to do it now and neither would Maradona in all likelihood. Or they'd be playing for / managing one of the super rich clubs.
