Christmas Tree

Well the goal should be to do as little work as possible so that you can do more of what floats your boat.

Therefore my ideal would be ( I can't remember the proper name) these ghost product sites that come high up the rankings and then generate money when the punter "clicks" through to the proper site.

I read a case study once of a very IT smart young woman who had set loads of these up targeting more niche markets and was earning a very comfy living via her laptop whilst she travelled the world.

Failing that I have always had a yearning to be a flying postman somewhere like the Canadian wilderness with a nice little water plane etc etc.

Most run of the mill opportunities in the UK just seem like a whole lotta hassle and stress for very little extra.

What if, y'know, actually doing something floats your boat? Instead of idling away your life?

Then do that

It's like the lottery winner who keeps on working.

If I didn't need to work I could happily fill my days.

Do you have any hobbies? I've can't recall you mentioning anything over the years?

I had an idea to start an 18-wheeler truck driving experience thing. All I need is some trucks, a truck driving license, an abandoned airport and $100k for annual insurances. Easy.

I wanna drive a massive truck because I think it would be fun is basically what I'm saying.

I'd open a coffee/bookshop. Dark wood bookshelves from floor to ceiling, comfy sofas, homemade cakes and freshly brewed coffee. People could come and go, use it as a bit of time out, take books from the shelves to read and relax for as long as they wanted. A little haven of chilled-out peace and quiet from the real world.

Had a daydream along these lines only yesterday....

Add a fireplace for winter and attach a book discussion club to bring them together...

Put a workstation and an apple mac in the loft.

I'm thinking of doing something different but I've no idea where to start as there really is no beginning to my talents. Saying that, I'm thinking of opening a small sports journalist cafe where weary sports journalists come come in a and partake in coffee, tea, whiskey or bottles of Stella. I'd obviously put some bait on with maybe a local flavour, say, slithers of saveloy on a platter with micro portions of black pudding, pease pudding served with a separate small plate of a quarter piece of locally baked Stottie. A kind of fusion of a Tyneside tapas if you'd like.
