Eric Serra also gets a vote from me for the leon soundtrack. Vangelis for blade runner and chariots of fire. John williams is not bad either mind.... Late 70s too then Good shout re: Vangelis. Edit: I never actually realised 'Assault on Precinct 13' was 1976. Classic. was going to mention dark star by carpenter but that was a bit too weird!!!
