  1. I got that email.

I didn't ask to move but a couple of lads i know asked to be moved near me.

After asking why mine hadn't been procecced I got 'I dunno, they may have chucked it in the box with your mates".

I know theyve got it because i handed it in personally, but if theyve lost it i'll be fuming. I rushed to hand it in early as well so I got 12 month DD but i guess theyve fucked that up.

  2. Being honest I'm not arsed if we finish above you

    :D

    You've overachieved to be fair.

Patronising prick. What makes you so much better than us? Nothing. We've scored more and conceded less and took 4 points off you, utterly thrashing you 5-1. I don't think you'll ''push on'' either and it's arrogance of the highest proportion to suggest you will. You're shite, you've spent a fortune and half your players are crocked, shite or on loan.

One win against Wigan and you're all full of shite again, about finishing above us and pushing for Europe, One things for sure Bruce has never achieved anything as a manager and every year his sides have the same slide - he only has a plan A and can rarely do anything about it when the slide begins.

We are a better team than you this year and providing we invest in the summer we'll be a better team than you next year.

Nar, we're better than you and have been for a few years now.

The table will show this at the end of the season.

So you took 4 points off us? We haven't lost to Arsenal this season, we must be of equal quality to them eh?

I honestly couldn't name half your team mate, Danny Simpson, Leon Best and Shola Ameobi are not Premier League players, the rest are decidedly average.

You're fucking shite, ran by Cockneys from top to bottom, and if you trust Ashley's word about investment then you're just as stupid as we think you all are.

    That post is absolutely superb.

My favourite part is when he says he couldn't name half our team, and then proceeds to name three of them with his very next words, and tops ot all off by calling us stupid. ;)

  3. Don Cowie (Watford)

    James Coppinger (Doncaster)

    Albert Adomah (Bristol City)

    Kevin Treacy (Preston)

    John Oster (Doncaster)

    Danny Graham (Watford)

    Billy Sharp (Doncaster)

    Brett Pittman (Bristol City)

    Marlon King (Coventry City)

    Scott McDonald (Middlesbrough)

    David Nugent (Portsmouth)

Please tell me you're simply a WUM.

Danny Graham would be ok, the rest shite.

  4. Not wanting to go in to football manager mode, but I think you need roughly a 26 man squad for a season. Two men for each position and a 'utility' man for each area.

Harper, Krul, Forster - God knows who will leave here but one will.

Simpson, R Taylor at RB, it'll do for now. Needs looking at long term

Hoy Campbell out, then we have Colo, Williamson and Taylor. I reckon we need another CB. Perch can be the 'use him if everything goes wrong man'

Enrique is off, so we need to replace him plus we have Ferguson as back up for here and LW

As well as Barton's done this season, we need competition for him on the RW. Routledge is off

CM: Nolan, Tiote, Guthrie, Smith, Gosling. Goslings a crock and so is Smith (as well as being shit). Smith will run his contract down for the final year then fuck off to Leeds. He'll do the job this year for turning to if everyone else is fucked. We need more strength in depth here, especially with Tiote's tendencies to get suspended. If we get a new RW then I suppose Barton could cover here.

LW: Jonas and Ben Arfa....well, god knows where Pardew will play Ben Arfa. Free Role or left wing? I think Jonas' impact will be significantly reduced when Enrique leaves, so i'd probably be tempted to use HBA in a role similar to the one he played at Everton, technically playing on the LW but allowed to cut inside whenever he wants.

Fucking hell we dont half have some shit up top. Xisco: Sell the cunt or give him a chance. What would be the point in loaning him out again? Lovenkrands....think he's got one year left on his deal. He'll run it down then fuck off next summer. Ranger, get him loaned out. Shola, meh. Best, probably worth giving him another season to see if he can pop up with a few more goals. Two strikers needed.

I can honestly see us doing all our deals this summer on the continent. We'll try for Tiote and Ben Arfa-esque value and bring in 4 or 5 players, while losing a similar number.

  5. I know that if ifs and ands were pots and pans, there'd be no need for tinkers but those two away results at Everton and Arsenal are the difference between us and about 5 or 6 sides beneath us. We've all lost a similar number of games at home, its the away form that has pushed us to the top of the pack we are in.

Funnily enough Blackpool have the next best away record after us in the bottom 12.

exactly. Will we repeat 2 unlikely results like that next season ? Unlikely. As we don't have, and probably won't bring in, the quality attacking players you need to get good home results, next season could be a looooonng and dismal one.

On the other hand, i'd back us to get more than 3 points out of Blackpool, Blackburn, Fulham, Stoke, Everton, Wigan and Bolton combined at home next season (or their relevant replacements in the league).

  6. Can't wait for this. Shame i'm only day tripping it though! 7.20 train out of Boro so will have plenty of time in Blackpool. Wouldn't go if I didn't have a ticket like, would feel wrong there being a match on just yards down the road and not going.

There'll be more Newcastle fans there without tickets than with tickets.

5under1and fans reckon they had 6 to 7,000 there and the bars were packed while watching the match

Each to their own like but I couldn't be fucked with a 6 hour round trip and 50 quid or whatever on trains if I didn't get to see the game!

  9. cheers SG, interesting read, makes you think who would make up all that shite.

was there not any mention that night of how Joey is getting on with his drink problem?

He confirmed he hadnt had a drink since he left prison

  10. A more honest version of the night....

Joey Barton was meant to be really good crack at the Hilton talk last

night, £500 a table - well worth it they reckon.

They had a comedian on last, by which time everyone was knackered, so he didnt last long.

    On his contract -

"I want to stay, even if they try to sell me. I want to go nowhere. I dont mind taking a pay cut but the first offer, which they said was non negotiable, was ridiculous. We'll talk again in the summer.

    On Pardew -

When he first came I didnt rate him, since working with him ive been very impressed

    On Shearer -

I have a hell of a lot of respect for the man as a player, he was great, and we're on decent terms now, but will never be best mates.

On That bust up at Anfield.

We were 3-0 down and was annoyed and made a poor tackle. As soon as I did it I knew I was in the wrong. Shearer said i deliberately tried to injure him, hence the bust up.

Who is your most hated current Player -

At the moment Carl Henry at wolves, but the best way to show him up is by scoring more than them

Who is the hardest player you have played with.

Richard Dunn - I can tell you, no doubt about it, it was one of the biggest

mismatches going, but yes I started on him. Thankfully I came out ok.

    Who else do you hate-

This question didnt happen in my recollection

What's your biggest highlight of your career so far -

"Winning the championship last year" (didnt say this as he didnt want credit)

On that 5-1 against mackems -

Unbelievable, an amazing day that will stop with me for the rest of my

    life.

    On Nile Ranger -

Nile's a bit dozy but a very exciting player

On Enrique, will he stop -

    How would I know?

What happened after that heavy defeat at Leyton orient pre- season -

We got hammered 6-0, after the game we spoke about what we need to do to

get this club back up in the premier league and who is up for the battle,

I'm not going to name names here, but some didn't want to be here and

couldn't care less, I want tell you who they are... "come on Joey, we want

names".. Hmmm, okay right, I will tell you 2 of them, 2 names only, that

f*cking Bassong and f*cking Martins, disgrace they are, total disgrace...

anyway, the next morning after the match, me and a few of the lads

confronted those who didn't want to be there and, well, I basically told

them to p!ss off out of this club and never to come back.

If anyone believes the above paragraph theyre utterly clueless

    On Stoke 4-0-

I thought we player better football than them but couldnt handle a team of cloggers

    On this side now -

Look, I believe we are a good football team, get behind us, we will be

    alright..

    On Andy Carroll -

£35 million, I would of sold him as well, no doubt about it.

Finishing off - Donated a few grand of his own money to the charaties

  11. I'm optimistic about this one like I seriously think that we'll win 3-0. If that mug in midfield plays who kicks people in the air Barton just needs to keep out of his way though and let Nolan deal with him. Wolves have nothing in my view, and we just need a good quick start like I always go on about, set the tone in the first 10 mins, and we'll piss it. Kick down Leazes second half and we'll roar them home.

One of me mates isn't buying his ticket till 230, cos he says he's not going if Harper's playing he hates him that much. He needs dropping I'd blame him for three of the goals at Stoke, but I think his influence in the club is so great he'll be out number 1 for 2 more years at least.

It's felt like pre season with nee home game for four weeks, so hopefully everyone will be well up for it, I've missed it.

Wishful thinking like, it won't happen though as the atmosphere when we play at 3 on a Saturday is generally awful.

I know. I don't like them at all in the modern era. I'm not a traditionalist in that regard to be honest. My ideal kick off would be 6pm on a Saturday night, shite for away fans like, but I love those Saturday night Sky games.

5.30pm on a saturday is fine, everyone's away on the trains by 8pm. It's all about the drinking time, that extra couple of hours in the pub, 3 or 4 more pints down your neck, seeing the other results coming in, then an early controversial decision sets it up for a superb atmosphere.

As opposed to playing in 15oC sunshine, against a turd opposition next week. All the sings of a shite atmosphere and a 0-1.

    Hope im wrong.
