  1. No wonder some of our fans get classed as clueless when people on NO see it as a bad thing when Barton says he definitely doesn't want to leave the club. He physically came or and said that he doesn't want to leave nufc in the forseeable future.

But then again I suppose it's fun for them to try to twist his words to put him in a bad light.

  2. Man Utd at home is now on Tuesday 19th April at 7 45pm.....we play Villa at 4pm on the Sunday 17th...just over 50 hrs between the games for us...Man Utd play Citeh in the cup on Sat 16th....why the fuck cant it be played on the Wednesday? Manu's next game is Everton the following Saturday as is ours v Blackpool....Is this a Sky take it or leave it thing?...or Fergie manipulating it for his own ends? :jesuswept:

Made even more ridiculous by the fact that we'll have had 1 game in 4 weeks.

Made even more ridiculous by the fact that the Villa game is on Sunday 10th.

  3. Yeah I went, he was absolutely spot on, and signed hundred of autographs, was in photos for everyone and spoke for a good half an hour. Also stuck a couple of grand of his own money into the auction.

Mentioned that after the Leyton Orient game they had the famous "team meeting" where "Some of them said they thought they were too good to play in the Championship, which is funny because they were the cunts who took the club down". Also said Duff was all up for staying at NUFC in the championship, but his missis wanted to move to London and he had to go with her.

Had a cheeky dig... "Some cunts sign for a team and play one game and win a cup, they havent really won it, have you? You need to play every game"

Said the Carroll deal was great for NUFC as long as we "go and spend the fucking money" in the summer.

If he could sign anyone in the league it'd be Luka Modric.

Said he was speaking to Puma about the home kit because he's sick of people (mentioned jermaine defoe in particular) ripping the piss out of the way he wears his shorts.

  4. Tickets on sale now, if you want to go i'd buy one ASAP.

Just got mine and the email says it's ticket 1621 on the confirmation email. Not sure if that number is bollocks, but if we've sold 1621 already then you better be quick!

  5. I would love it if Villa got relegated, and I tell you what it is, they just might.

Could happen, shame their last game isn't as SJP talk about sweet justice if that happened. Imagine what a tool Bent will feel IF they do go down, I tell you what it is, no one is in worse form, one point off the drop zone, some hard games, players hate Houllier and McAllister. It would be glorious.

Quite a big game that one on 10th April now.

  6. I can't believe we're on the verge of being in this position again.

I get stick that I deserve for my pessimism but I always believed we'd stay up. Now I'm not so sure - so much rides on the next match and the one after it.

We can't afford to lose either of them. Lets face it both teams are shite. Wolves have won 2/15 away games - at Villa and Liverpool who were both in dogshot form at the time. Villa are also shit now, and there's massive unrest with Houllier.

2 weeks to regroup now, get Jonas, Barton and Best fully fit and do enough to beat Wolves. Huge game.

  7. Absolutely superb for the whole game. "We'll still follow United" ringing round the ground for a good 20 minutes. The team will need us massively for the run in, especially next time out v Wolves.

However, the cunts who were shouting and laughing during the minute's silence deserve shooting, shameful. Wankers.

  8. Googling 'Concession corner' brought this up as the first result:

    Category A matches

Category A matches include matches against Manchester United, Newcastle United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Middlesbrough, and Chelsea. All tickets in the Kronenbourg Upper Stand and the Home End, with the exception of two sections, are charged at £30. An adult ticket in the SE Concession Corner, the NE Concession Corner, the SW Concession Corner, the NW Concession Corner and most of the North West Upper Concession Corner, will cost £28. Over 65s and under 22s can get tickets for just £22, whilst under 16s will be charged just £12. Sections of the East Stand and the West Stand have tickets available at £33 for an adult. Concession ticket prices for these areas are the same as for the Concession Corners. The Black Cats Bar area is the most expensive part of the ground, with an adult ticket costing £60. Certain parts of the ground are allocated as matchday sales only areas. A detailed stadium plan with prices can be found here.

So every corner is 'concession corner' :D

  9. Did it last year, 80 quid. 60 minute game, proper officials, use of the changing rooms, 10 minute warm up on the pitch and a decent buffet afterwards.

Superb experience and a canny money spinner for the club. 2 weeks of games effectively pays for the pitch to be relaid.

  10. Tbf, the unemployment rate in Sunderland is very high, and yes our tickets are slightly cheaper than yours, but again the way some of you gan on you would think we were gettin in for 50 pence

My season ticket is 400 quid in a concession corner

Our matchday tickets are about 25 at the cheapest for cat b games and about 32 quid at the cheapest for cat a games. The odd game of the season there are offers on. What are your prices like???

  11. The young Boro left back lives next door to me, Joe Bennett. Anyway, he's just set this as his Twitter:

May go and have a word with him!

  12. There were a number of new faces as Newcastle trained at their Benton HQ on Wednesday morning. Micky Holland, Tom Coffield, Richard Hines, Paul Catterson, Neil Stoker, Kerry Morrow and Carl Nelson were among the unfamiliar names limbering up with the lads - but before the rumours start, they aren't a host of new signings.

Some of the training ground staff, from masseurs to video analysts to administrators, were invited to join in with the session as a small-sided tournament was held to keep the team match-fit with no game this weekend. Each team was made up of a combination of staff and players, with the likes of Alan Pardew, Peter Beardsley and Andy Woodman also taking part.

And fittingly, it was physio Derek Wright - with United for more than 25 years - who popped up with the winning goal after losing his markers Steven Taylor and Shola Ameobi and powering a flying half-volley past Ole Soderberg.

    :D

  13. So......what you giving up?

Takeaways for me, need to get in shape for the GNR and that'll be a good start! Last one tonight till my Birthday (Easter Saturday!)
