  1. Didn't threaten their goal at all and didn't look like winning and in the end didn't deserve anything out the game. Poor performance, Perez, Joselu were particularly bad and Atsu, Ritchie, Hayden etc weren't too far behind.

Gayle and Shelvey should be starting against Liverpool next weekend.

If he knows his mindset is wrong this is actually the braver decision imo.

You look at a couple of the lads who stepped up yesterday and you could see before they hit them they were going to fluff them.

Or he could grow a pair and step up and hit one.

If he was a CB I could understand it but he's paid to score goals and isn't mentally confident enough to have go from the penalty spot? He's only half a man.

    This.

If you are a striker then you should be able to take a penalty fs.

Speaking of which, according to Martin Tyler, Harry Kane was meant to take the penalty that Knockaert took and missed and then Watford went up the pitch and scored.

But that cunts just went and scored a hattrick against Leicester tonight and has now got the most goals in the division so.........

Are they not asking something like 20m for Cairney? I'd rather us spend that money (plus however much over that) to get someone like Sigurdsson.

Maybe Cairney could make the step up but I just feel we could attract players who have done it at the PL (or comparable) level. I don't really rate Mooy, from what I've seen of him I think Shelvey is better and as Andrew said younger. He'd be fine as back up (clear upgrade on someone like Colback) but I can't really see us spending 10m on a back up.

I think that was the inflated quote because it was the January transfer window. If we bid something like £10m then they would accept it - I don't think he would be worth it right enough.

    That's a good idea.

My problem is that it's so fucking in depth now (a huge bonus if you're really into it) that I get bored and give up.

And I have some weird cognitive bias to playing the lite version which I can't quite put my finger on.  Something akin to using a walkthrough I think.

That's the same with me. Lost interest in FM17 after about a week.

I have too, Konoplyanka left for Sevilla a couple of years ago, I figured he'd be next.

Bit worse than 1 goal in 2 for Kiev from the wing and 68 caps 29 goals for Ukraine is not a bad record at all so he's obviously a good player, odd that he's not moved but I suppose someone like Darijo Srna never did either despite plenty of offers.

Yarmolenko had a decent Euro 2012 for Ukraine as well if I remember correctly and he had some exposure within the last few years in the CL and the Europa League too, so it's not like he's completely unknown.

Looks like he's a bit of a hot head though, he has some beef with the captain of Shakhtar and last season he kicked fuck out him during their derby and got a big suspension.

I suggested the other day that we should just sign players who are good on FM, unfortunately Monaco scuppered our Youri Teilemans deal but its good to see we've picked ourselves up!

    Yarmolenko to follow!

I've always wondered why he's never left Ukraine, I mind he was linked with Everton a few years ago.

  7. I don't want us going into next season with folk like Dummett, Colback, Lazaar, Anita, Diame, Haidara, Gouffran, Sels, Murphy and Ameobi still in the squad - they should all be moved on. I expect Krul, De Jong, Saivet and Riviere to be binned as well.

We need two centre halves, a left back, two midfielders, a left winger and a striker at the very least and probably two or three impact subs whether that's attacking midfielders or wingers/forwards.

I still think folk like Dummett, Colback, Gouffran etc will be kept though :anguish:

  8. Had a feeling all week that we would do it. Thought it was fucking typical that Villa got a cunt sent off and Brighton scored the pen (I think Villa should have had a stonewaller in the first half as well), but it absolute fucking scenes when Grealish scored man.
