He is only 19 but looks promising. Definitely looks better when in attack. I thought he looked quite good in the Everton match. He has got alot to learn but think he could be a very good player.

Deciding during January that we were okay for strikers regardless of Carroll was the big fuckup in my view. Very true. Think anyone could see Best, Ameobi and Lovenkrands were never going get the goals Shame the people who matter didn't think about it enough!

It should be but do you think he really pays to have SD plastered everywhere? I doubt it but who knows. Some will say it is his club so he is entitled to advertise his other business. I just think it looks tacky - don't mind the advertising boards but to have it on the stand roof, on chairs in the dugout, incorporated in the stadium name and pretty much anywhere there is a free space is over the top. The idiology of it all is a good one. Its the fact it is SD and related to FMA which irks people. Should it be a worldwide company who would pay the club for the advertising package then i wouldnt mind. I agree with that if the club was seeing some benefit from it then I'm all for it but Ashley is that tight he is not going to be paying for all of that or if he is it will be peanuts. I just feel sick everytime I see that horrible SD logo everywhere

Really, you realise they get paid regardless? Just like 08/09 those that are good enough will go to teams that want them, the rest - well I'm looking forward to Smith being captain again. Of course but i actually do believe that we have a squad in which alot more players CARE about the football club. I honestly think we will be ok. I think we will be ok as last time we had too many idiots in the team who couldn't care and were just happy to pick up their wages each week. Like you say I think more players in this squad seem to care about the club or maybe I'm being hopeful that they do. Just need Pardew to stop playing stupid formations and picking Sol Campbell! Though maybes I'm being harsh there on Sol, as it is after all a team effort!

Krul looked good in the reserve match against Arsenal making some good saves and think maybe he should be given a go. I'd put Shola on the bench and give Ranger a go or even Kuqi but maybes that's pushing it a bit much with Kuqi! But if we need a goal near the end I'd give Kuqi a run out for 20 mins or so, as he's gotta be better than Lovenkrands! Just don't see the point when there's like 2mins to go and we need a goal and Pardew brings Kuqi out, like what is he going to do in that time?

Dunno why Pardew played Enrique. He only lasted 23mins so he obviously wasn't fully recovered. Why didn't he play Ferguson least then we would of had the option of another sub later. Pardew's tactics and formations worry me at times and really what do I know. As for playing Lovenkrands and Ameobi well I'd rather of seen Kuqi or Ranger and Airey starting. I reckon they would be better than the two he went with. And well no comment on Campbell he should only ever play as a last resort! Think Nolan is on 9 yellows now so hope he doesn't get booked next game.

You'd be better off leaving here, onioncards (I find it so much easier to say), sharpish, before you post something someone disagrees with. Don't mind people disagreeing with me it would be very boring if everyone agreed with each other. In Paul's case it was the nasty abuse that followed, and as for onioncards I'm used to it!

Personally think its a hard choice between the two. Both are good young keepers. Forster did well with Norwich last season and is doing well with Celtic now. Krul made some good saves when he came in for Harper and when I saw him play in reserves against Arsenal last week he looked good but as someone else said his kicking is sometimes dodgy. I think Krul will probably stay and Forster will either go to Celtic or if they don't have the cash I'm sure plenty of other clubs would be interested.
