This was from 3rd of January. I can't imagine it's changed significantly. Title is all but certainly going to end up at Anfield. Analysts still think Forest will drop off, but they haven't a particularly bad run of fixtures ahead of them.
Their worst run of games is coming up at the end of January through to early March. But even then, Bournemouth, Brighton and Fulham are all eminently beatable for a side that likes to play on the counter.
This season is pretty similar to the 15/16 season.
Two of the "big 6" having absolutely honking seasons and the other 4 having, by their standards, middling-to-poor point returns. A lot of stodge in the middle of the table. Some traditionally midtable sides having poor seasons.
The surprise team that barely survived relegation in the previous season suddenly making a tilt to the top spot. And that team being reliant on a counter attack style that appears to be catching everyone off guard.
Only 40% chance of top 5? Bollocks.

there's never been a more clueless cunt ever to set foot in a football ground.
I knew a woman who went to SJP in the days of Robson, Platinum club, purely for the social aspect (drink). She only knew two players - Shearer and Given. She once asked me why "they" keep singing "Sore knees". "Erm, you mean Geordies?". She was more clued up than this fucker.

the mackems have got a thread started on isak.....

fair play to them, most acknowledging that he's fucking tremendous whilst pinning all their hopes on him fucking off to a 'big' club.
have searched the 'isak' thread on here hoping to find the quote from when keith put his thinking cap on, mused over us signing him and came to the conclusion he was £60m's worth of shite.
unsurprisingly he's completely missing from the thread over there.
Thing is, not just Isak, all our big signings under Howe have been superb. I can't think of a flop. But "My name is Keith, I'm thick as whale spunk, if not thicker" has decried all of them at some point. I can certainly remember him saying it about Gordon, Tino and Hall. It's like they did a brain transplant on him, but forgot to put in the brain. Even his fellow SMBers think he is as thick as pigshit.

My boss is an Arsenal "fan". From India, lives in America, never been to Emirates or Highbury (I've been to both). In fact I know loads of Arsenal "fans" from work who are similar, due to the invincible period.

Im proper buzzing tonight mind. Can't remember the last time I had so much pride in the team.
Best full back pairing we've ever had?
Best midfield trio we've ever had?
Gordon the best LW we've ever had?
Isak the best CF since Shearer?
Burn the most underrated CB in the league?
What a team Howe is building. Sorry I ever doubted him!
7 wins on the trot for Dubs, 1 goal conceded.

Tried getting a docs appointment this morning for a review of my meds
'Good morning can I book an appointment for a review of my meds'
'We are only taking appointments that require to see the Dr urgently'
'I have tried to do this online, but it says ring'
'Can you email on the following? blah blah'
'I emailed that and got a reply to call'
'That's the protocol'
'Yes, I have done that but got the reply to call. I waited a week, nothing happened so I am calling'
'If you send an email we can schedule something'
Why is it so fucking difficult to schedule something?
Sounds like my GP.
Saw the GP a few weeks ago because I was running out of topical drugs to treat my eczema, which I could feel was flaring up, but wasn't that bad at that time. Being proactive based on decades of personal experience. She was absolutely obnoxious, gave me a prescription then and there and told me to self refer to secondary care if I felt it was getting on top of me (I think this was partly because I refused to have UV therapy for a lot of reasons). So anyway, today I try to get a repeat prescription on my NHS app and she has stopped everything. No medication review, nothing, just stopped my prescription without even telling me. So now a flare is pretty inevitable which will mean I get genuinely ill and will need antibiotics. Going ther in person this afternoon which I can do as its near but still.
Oh aye, and cos of global shortages, made much worse by Brexit, even once I get the prescription it will take weeks for some products to get dispensed if at all. Primary care is a shambles and needs to be the focus of NHS reform imo.

BTW. Has there EVER been anything more shameless than the tories attacking Starmer and Phillips over child sexual abuse and implicitly supporting Musk over this?
Something about this was really bugging me more than normal. Then I remembered. Remember this? Remember when their leader and PM of the time said money spent investigating historic child sex abuse was money "spaffed against the wall"?

I actually hate these cunts just as much in opposition. They have no decency, no humility, no humanity whatsoever. They are, and always will be, scum.

I know several GPs who would happily kill you for this comment.
Fwiw, GPs have a highly skilled job and are an absolutely critical part of the NHS (although to be pedantic, they are outwith the NHS). They can deal with 80% of your health problems. Yes, they are also gatekeepers which is an important role also. No, they don't know everything. But they know where to find information and will be able to correctly interpret a Google result. If they don't, they risk being struck off.
Nevertheless, like everything else, there are good and bad GPs, and like everybody else, they have off days. But overall, hats off to them. Can you even imagine seeing 20 to 30 patients a day, with all sorts of conditions, doing physical exams, admin, etc? No fucking way would I do it.
