  1. 12/5 for an away win. Not quite sure why we're strong favorites for this.. I've never bet against us but could have made a fortune in hindsight
  2. Any football club with the amount of negativity that's surrounding ours at present would struggle to pick up points in any premier league game. West Ham will kick us while we're down and Hippo Head will look smug as fuck in post match interviews. Pardew won't be sacked.. it would have happened already if Ashley was prepared to pay of his contract. No, he'll let him dig a deeper and deeper hole until he literally can't stand the heat.. When that happens is anyone's guess. Ashley's gamble this year is that whoever comes in will keep us up with the remaining games. I can't see Kinnear taking it.. He'll have another heart attack. Some muppet like Poyet or (insert random unemployed managers name) will take over on a short term contract. The 8 year contract for Pardew and Carr is why Llambias is gone.. word is it was done without consulting Ashley fully and he was furious about it. Looking back to last season, the mood around the club decidedly changed when the new contract was announced.. His investment in January was purely to keep us up but those signings are starting to look dodgy. Sissoko just doesn't seem to fit in and the system we use to accommodate him simply doesn't work. Gouffran tries but is mediocre and Debuchy has yet to adapt.. same for MYM. They probably saw Sissoko as Cabaye's replacement before he actually arrived but now realise it's a no go.. Anita was another Carr recommendation that's flopped so far. I would imagine his reputation with Ashley has taken a huge hit, hence the lack of signings this summer.. When Pardew walks, Carr will go with him. In the meantime we as fans just have to sit tight and wait till it all plays out.
  3. But it was his fault that we got relegated in the first place.. So it should have been his burden to bare. Love this myth of how he was the clubs savior after we went down.. He started the whole mess to begin with. And the club has to repay him??
  4. Well apparently Charles Green is selling all his Rangers shares.. we can live in hope that Ashley buys them and fucks off away from us.
  5. Two very different versions of events going around.. It'll have the same result regardless so no point getting worked up about it. They may as well sell the whole first team squad and be done with it at this rate. After things seemed to be going ok, I wonder what got up Ashley's nose for the complete turnaround.. perhaps he has a private schizophrenia issue.. And as a child had recurring nightmares about birds.. Mainly magpies, all laughing at him. So had vowed vengeance.. Or perhaps not, would explain a few things though. He seems intent on driving us into the ground in any case.. As a club owner, is he not bound by some sort of rule to act in the clubs best interest?
  6. I'm still furious. It really feels like Ashley bought the club to punish us.. Why couldn't he have just bought Spurs.. see how the penny pinching went down there..
  7. Dummet was the only positive from this Krul & HBA aside, the rest were an embarrassment to the shirt. Didn't take long for Pardew to "coach" the decent player out of Sissoko.. He looked gash tonight and Debuchy was at fault for 3 of the goals? Simpson was better..
  8. Yep.. Pretty embarrassing stuff. City aren't even that good tonight.. Much slower play than last few years. HBA can't do all of it.. Cisse has been shocking.. May as well stick Shola on. Sudoku and Tutee have been toothless.. I predict a long awful season.. Things don't look right at all
  9. Fuck the cunts. That's any chance we had of a point gone. He's probably our best player.. I'm gutted..
  10. It's naive to suggest that because he didn't have a great season it suddenly means he wants away. He's a fine player but he's not made of stern stuff.. he came back fucked from the Euros and I would imagine his depression and exhaustion levels went hand in hand. Then imagine his job satisfaction levels when Pardew told him to play hoof ball. Buying Debuchy was as much about keeping Cabaye happy than an actual pressing need for a left back.. Can't see why he'd leave so soon.. Frustratingly all of Pardew's comments in the last two weeks seem to be inviting bids for him.. there's some serious politics going on behind the scenes, that's for sure..
  11. Be interesting to see what Mildew says about it tonight in the pre match interview
  12. Can't see Arsenal finishing in the top 4 this season. Why would Cabaye swap a team that could finish in top 10 for a team that will probably finish 5th?
  13. What absolute cunts. They could have easily waited till tomorrow to make an insult of a bid like that. I very much hope this gives Cabaye incentive to have a stormer of a game tonight
  14. We're on a hiding to nothing basically but we have players that can turn a game in a flash. Ben Arfa needs a big season. On his day he's up there with the very best in world football, his injuries were the main cause of our dip last season in my humblest.. If we get stuck in and give him the ball in the right areas there's every chance of getting a result tonight. I'm tense already..
  15. We've a pretty much full strength squad (with what we have) which we never really did at any point last season so there's no excuses if it goes tits up. I'd have Anita in ahead of Tiote for what it's worth. He has more pace and passes quicker and more accurately. Sissoko can tussle with Y.Toure.. so we need the right tools to get it to the forwards when we get possession back. Tiote will really stifle our play as well as being a total liability.
  16. We'll play a 4-5-1.. The only positions in doubt are at the back. Taylor might miss out so that would put Mapou in the center, Santon at LB. I'm not entirely convinced about City's new boss so this could be a good opportunity to get a point (IF they play a very different system to how Mancini did)
