Hmm..... if being sat in the relegation zone is what you think is doing well, I'd hate to see what you think doing badly is. Signings wise you are doing well. Really Fop I would go for a sit down, getting cuffed left and right in the pharmacutical thread has affected you. I have told you why you are where you are. So amazingly well in fact we're in the relegation zone. Thank fuck they didn't listen to that idiot Keegan about cover and strength in depth, just think about where we'd be now.

Wise's signings so far: Bassong - Unproven Guthrie - Started well under Keegan but has generally been disappointing since Coloccini - Done alright, but he did cost £9.1m Jonas - Done well Xisco - Flop Nacho - Who? They're hardly set the league alight. Bassong has been doing well, Guthrie i think has done ok and is one for the future and as for Xisco he has hardly been given a chance so its unfair to judge him. Nacho was a pointless one but apart from that they are not bad signings

I would agree with alot of that :/

As long as the team is getting positive results then i'm not too fussed These positive results you speak of have us in the relegation zone 4 defeats in 6 before he came in, 2 defeats in 8 since he took over. exactly 2 wins in 8 as well btw before you get too carried away. But a couple of the draws we were unlucky not to win. And we will win this weekend anyway

Through all the years of inconsistency with different managerial regimes, boards, players etc one thing remains the same - The unrealistic expectations of the fans Yes I know we're the greatest fans the world has ever seen blah blah blah but for fucks sake give the bloke a chance & give him our support at least until the end of the season. Alot of people are and i think he has done ok

Or it could see the likes of Ramage replaced by Bassong, Milner replaced by Jonas, Faye replaced by Coloccini... lol nice one mate

Cutting off the nose to spite the face. An expression used to describe a needlessly self-destructive overreaction to a problem. "Don't cut off your nose to spite your face" is a warning not to act out of pique or pursue revenge in such a way as to damage yourself more than the object of your anger. "Don't be a patronising wanker" Much like yourself I think we need to make the most of it and get behind him.

I don't understand all the negative attitudes?? I'm not a fan of the bloke but he has got the players on side and they have started playing better. Changing a manager now would just disrupt things even more in the camp. IMO!!!

he has bought stability to the team so i think maybe good move

Per Cikijan Skjelbred's agent has insisted that a deal has not been agreed to take the Norwegian star to Newcastle. Reports in the North East of England suggested that the Magpies had resurrected their interest in Skjelbred, which first emerged in the summer. It had been claimed that Newcastle had already agreed terms with the player's club Rosenborg ahead of a January switch to St James' Park. However, the player's agent Andreas Ekker has denied a deal has been agreed with Newcastle. "I have heard absolutely nothing from Newcastle," he told TV2 Sporten. "I don't know where this is taken from as I haven't spoken to Newcastle at all." Ekker did go on to admit that several Premier League clubs were interested in the highly-rated forward. Reports claim that Bolton, Blackburn, Hull, Tottenham and Aston Villa are all monitoring the 21-year-old's progress. Shame really

be a shame if he goes but he was looking to move ages ago so maybe we should let him. might get a good 7-8million for him and a couple million for enrique
