  1. No, it's not the same thing. The Swansea player was going to ground, it was understandable that Shaw caught him with his studs. Mitrovic had his studs up, when you do that you're always running the risk of a red.

Coquelin and Mitrovic both went for the ball in a 50/50 and Mitrovic was a fraction of a second late. The little cheating scrote's reaction along with Mitrovic's reputation got him sent off.

  2. Whether you agree with the red card or not, something tells me that Mitrovic is going to be a nightmare for us this season. It doesn't make me like the guy any less of course - there's something very endearing about his atttiude and the way he speaks of his passion for the game and for our club and you can see in his aggression when he plays, how competitive he is and how much he wants to win. But, I worry that we might never really see the true potential of this lad. He's featured in every game this season so far and I still don't feel like I've seen really play. I don't believe there was any malice at all in his challenge and I think the red card was incredibly harsh, but no one that supports NUFC can say they didn't see this coming.

I prey that the guy cools down a little and we get the opportunity to see him really play, in a game where we have a little more possession and look like we could be the dominant force, but the early signs are concerning.
Also, I think the absence of Mitro highlighted the need for the club to bring in another forward - Papiss Cisse was not the player anybody wanted brought on which speaks volumes of his time left on Tyneside, I feel. Could Mitro's probable suspension be the key thst unlocks the Charlie Austin box, finally?

"Colback is a black and white bastard who is now earning his money there.......they are in for a relegation battle......maybe we are too....but Colback wouldn't improve us one iota"

They're absolutely livid at how relaxed we are after our start. Adamant that we should be worried and have signed loads of flops.

Have they not seen who our opening fixtures were against compared to theirs?

  4. Back from the match. Probably the worst refereeing performance this year. Every foul a Newcastle player committed was a card, thanks to them cheating soft as shite cockney cunts.

I was shocked at the red card, as was everyone else. and to see a player sent off in the first 15 minutes for a yellow card offence was baffling. And Coquelin, the press boxes could hear him scream the dickhead. I don't think it was a red card; Mitrovic's eyes were on the ball and he was a fraction of a second late and catched him on the ankle. But then again, if Mitrovic's tackle was a red then shouldn't Sissoko's have been?

Anita was booked, then Sanchez made a worse challenge: no foul. Gini was booked for taking the piss out of Marriner, Coloccini was booked for being fouled, I hope Marriner never officiates again the cunt.

    Next opponents, Sheff Wed.

Not very bothered about this tie apparently, comments from 'meh' to 'mid table shit', 'not a big club', 'deluded fans', 'pitiful gates' etc. That'll be why when we played them a couple of years ago they brought big numbers during the week and were very much up for one of their biggest games that year at a ground they hadn't played at for a few years. Luckily the Sheffield lads I had a pint with that night were real life decent enough lads who remembered the old days where we always seemed to be in the same division and the big crowds there used to be for games between us, unlike some of the knackers on these internet forums though, what a bunch of fucking divvies.

    8-0 :snigger:
