  1. when you say its a pain to change does that mean its not the big silver CR2032 one on the motherboard then? if so could I just swap it over with a battery from another PC? what damage would it do to remove a battery to the other PC? would i lose all the settings? precisely. A bios battery replacement is one of the easiest fixes u could do. even on old boards? like I say, ages since I did one but they were soldered

Also, most I've known are soldered in, but don't quote me on it you lose your settings but that's no big deal if you know what they were (basically need to tell it to boot in C: A: D: order). Been a while since I did it, but if it's dead already they're already lost
  3. your bios battery is dead might be a pain to replace on an old motherboard
  4. People love to throw whitey and his feelings into this equation. I wonder why? perhaps because the phrase 'justice is blind' is supposedly one of the marks of a civilised society? I've heard it all now!! Whitey wants justice. Oh dear. Liberte, Egalite, Fraternite
  5. did anyone else see Keane make the duck lip gesture with his index finger while mouthing 'fucking wanker' as he walked away from Ferdinand after he clattered him one? Gutted, would love to have seen that! Cant stand Ferdinand, what a glory seeking faggot he is! the important bit being he did it walking away from him.....

  7. Of course 'the english' have historically been weighed down by racism. Jesus Christos. so that makes it all right?

  9. The point is whether or not the comments were racist. Well IMHO calling someone a Negro out of anger is racist. It is a comment meant to hurt. It's not nigger, though, which has definite negative connotation. It'd be the difference between Pakistani and Paki, I guess. So where is Negro then. I know calling someone a Pakistani is saying where they come from. How does that equate to Negro? Negro essentially means the same as black. It's in no way derogatory. Paki means someone from pakistan so I am assuming you dont think that is racist either? Negro is neither Turkish nor English for black so why use it. It was a stattement based on someones race intended to cause emotional distress. Can you prove that? Besides, calling a Scottish person a Scot isn't racist so how is calling some from Pakistan a Paki? Just an excuse for people to whinge or get sympathy imo. What about calling a Welsh person Taff? Or and Irishman Paddy? I don't these folks getting a stress on about it. The problem is all the lefty do-gooders that jump on the bandwagon to say "Oh you can't say that about this person it'll offend them" when the actual people involved don't give a sh*t. The leftys just wind people up and cause the conflict. NAIL / HEAD TBH BRAIN DEAD TBH. People just like to fuss over nothing man, I dont use the language myself but i dont nesseccarily (sp) host a rally through the town center when someone uses the word 'paki' ''I am going to the paki's'' Whats wrong with that? as apposed to ' i am going to the store owned by the pakistani's'' If you were standing in said store, and someone asked you where is XXX? Would you say 'no idea, ask the Paki' infront of the store owner?
  10. A Welshman calling an Englishman a fucking English prick An Englishman calling a Pakistani a fucking Paki prick A Turk calling an African a fucking black prick Eiither all of these are racist insults, or none of them are. They are not however, just 'factual and descriptive' insults.
  11. a bunch were sent to Chris Moyles this morning. You could tell they were trying to stop themselves from saying it's shite
  12. I just think they got comprehesively outclassed all over the pitch, hence ManU scored from all over, and I can't see how people can still say they were unlucky to lose to us. They had less shots on target than ManU at their own ground, hardly the sign of an unlucky team is it? If Jol had a tactical plan in that game, I couldn't see it
  13. Would have been ideal but for the 'location'. Gemma the 'hybrid' accountant. If the guy on N-O talking about share tips is to be believed, that company won't have a chance And don't believe what they promise on share options, I was in an up and coming company that liked to issue shares as bonuses and raises, however, after the IPO didn't happen for a few years after they planned, all employees got screwed over and found their shares were worth next to nowt as the capital had chopped up and resold so many times just to get there, all we were left with was scraps. happens all the time - options etc are great IN ADDITION to £££££ in the pay packet but very dodgy if they are in place of cash on the nail tbf it was always 50/50 cash shares, but I could have honestly broken the CFO's nose had I still been there when the float paperwork came through. Pisses you off as I actually worked harder because of it. The injustice!
  14. who are Glossop North End and Bradford Park Avenue? and Sunderland 9th?

  16. Anyone change their opinion of our win over spuds after seeing them be comprehensively outclassed in all areas of play at their own ground?? Seems that a few people thought we were lucky to beat them, I think they're seriously over-rated p.s. Loving the fact Ireland's number 1 striker can't score past O'Shea
  17. my thing is more about how can they offer me a "better" job when they've already said that the only way to get that better job is with on-the-job training... I'm worried that they're offering me this job in Harrogate so that they can keep the job in Leeds in their back-pocket. if the job in Harrogate isn't too much more I'd rather take the job in Leeds and save money, instead of getting a few extra quid in my pocket, just to see that and more go into the pocket of someone else via petrol, road tax and car insurance. *by "they" I mean Kellys, not Park Row if it's £15k plays £16k it's hardly going to be worth their while holding one back, the commission will be roughly the same, unless you think noone wants to work in Harrogate?
  18. anyone know what this rule is about making a football move or something when receiving the ball??? It was during the 4th quarter, and the Bears threw a pass which was caught, but the guy was tackled immediately as he returned to Earth, and IIRc went down still holding, so I thought this was classed as a complete pass? But it went Colts way according to this rule. Anyway that's how I think it went, I was canny pissed by then though, started drinking for the ManU match and kind of never stopped
