away at deportivo.
they've won more points away from home than at home. thursday might be more difficult than expected.
according to their manager it's going to be a difficult game on thursday becasue newcastle 'es un gran equipo'
-
great another fortune spent on a striker who fails to deliver. At least that new lad Dyer got a goal, he looks pretty canny
probably going to need a month or two off to recover from a full 90 minutes though.

What is this shit? I used to think Henry was class but after that obvious bit of cheating I don't know what to say.
EDIT: I can't fathom how that wasn't a red. He should just be honest and put an Arsenal jersey on.
what did he do?
-
Luque not even on the bench.
Fucking pitiful that he's overlooked whilst Shola clearly isn't in the right state to play. Do more damge to his hip is a fucking brilliant idea Glenn.
but acccording to the chronicle he's been given plenty of chances to play.
while do they wheel the players out to give these interviews, make them look like clowns and then not even put them on the bench for that match?
-
So Shola has not really been in full time training. How fit is he? Probably as fit as Olly Bernard I reckon. GREAT to rely on that kind of player...
didn't roeder say something about not playing half fit players befroe the season started?
-
get in.
totally unexpected.

yes. but by that margin a fair number of the players today deserve criticism, NOT JUST ameobi. a game does change and there is no guarantee that sibierski would have been so influential in the second half.
just in case you missed it the first time around:
Parker was poor today, as were many...
I don't think we can achieve anything as long as Shola's an important part of the team, I can't say that about many other players.
i did miss it the first time round. fair enough.

it's like saying i think if milner had scored we'd have won, that's pretty significant to the result, don't you think?
you can't really disagree with it but it doesn't add anything, because they didn't and we lost.
So we can't have a go at a player having an effect on the result by not playing well? Grand, glad we cleared that up. Just so we're clear, I do think looking at what players are not good enough is beneficial to a conversation about what's wrong with the club, I'm a radical new thinker that way.

yeah lets blame a half-fit striker for martins etc going missing. good one.
I believe if Sibierski had stayed on the pitch we'd have won the match. That's pretty significant to the result, don't you think?
yes, and?
lol, win? yeah? winning? think the point was pretty clear.

Cant believe old fatwit fired Bobby for finishing 5th. It all started there.
we ended that season playing relatively bad football and it was looking bad. hindsight is wonderful but it was time for Robson to go. He should have gone before he actually did. The fact that since robson we've had a load of muppets has not helped.

Martins was one of the brightest players on the pitch today for us. He wasnt great, but that tells you how pathetic the others were. And you speak as if Ameobi would have set the world on fire if he was fit, sorry but he just isnt a good player. In fact, he's rubbish.
so rubbish he's scored 5 in a team that is doing NOTHING. but there is very little point in re-hashing the whole ameobi shit or not argument.

Pearson could be out a job within the week...
Have we employed him then? I knew there was talk of it.
on the bench today apparently, according to radio newcastle, fitted in well with his grey suit...
-
has martins been on the pitch in the second half?
not looking to clever now. half-fit players etc...
-
it's ok though. espanyol have managed to equalise a the end of the first half.
-
loads of yakubu planting. bastard.
sounds like the defending was top drawer.

Century's not working for me for some reason
didn't work for me earlier.

About Shola, well done Roeder. Thats what you get for playing an unfit player. Idiot.
but unlike souness roeder doesn't do that.
'it's bout not losing it' how depressing
-
Barcelona missing Eto'o so much it's ridiculous. Sinking without trace.
totally disappeared in that second half.
chelsea should have scored more. the milan shevhenko would certainly have scored this evening.

spanish commentators are bricking it for celta vigo
-
Shit, we've got Palermo. FFS.
and fenerbahce. brilliant
-
if it's any consolation celta vigo are playing tonk this season.
means no trip to barcelona though. (you can't have teams from the same country in the same group can you?)
-
with the match sequence does A v D mean the same as Pot 1 team against Pot 4 team?

2 weeks ago i would have said avoid seville at all costs but they are beginning to look a little bit vulnerable away from home.
