You can get a Golf or an A3 with a 1.9TDi engine that comes under that limit. I've got the 1.9TDI Audi A3 at them moment - comes in at 134g They do have a Golf but it's the 'Bluemotion'... If anyone's driven one (I have) you'll know why that's not a good idea. Looks like they've put the Bluemotion set up in the A3 to get it into a lower tax band? http://campaigns.direct.gov.uk/actonco2/ho...cient-cars.html EDIT: I think VW also do a 1.4 TSI petrol engine for the Golf (and the Seat Leon) which comes into the lower brackets but there is a waiting list for them. Might not be sub 130 anyway. The 1.4 TSI was what I was after before they brought in this legislation. Sadly its CO2 is massive - 169 g/km for the 140PS model and 174 g/km for the 170PS model! The second BMW is nice KD, but I ain't a director...

If that's on my grade list, it's most certainly a possibility. What spec of 1 series is that one?
  3. A left back, Joe... that's LEFT back!!! Lucas Neill has a track record of being sent off and leeching extraordinarly high wages. Hate to see it but he'll fit right in here Another disadvantage is that Halliwell will cream himself if this comes off...

We've had a change in company car policy - all going green and nothing with a CO2 over 130 will be allowed to be ordered. Toyota Prius' all round then....
  7. Is that lager in a Guinness glass? Sacrilegious!
  8. What difference does it make? The plastics will just buy a different shirt and will have being going to City ''all along'' and suddenly they've ''always been a big club'' . Etc etc. tbf it's a bit like us in the mid 90s when the south was full of people who'd 'suddenly' become Newcastle United fans... Oi, I'm still here. I'm talking about the plastic cockney wankers I came into contact with when I went to Uni. I wouldn't at all be surprised if the same tossers were presently swapping their Chelsea shirts for Citeh ones.

  10. I notice in some of dispatches quotes on .COM, Kinnear comments that he thinks he'll be able to raise £2m (presumably from the sale of Geremi) in this transfer window to add to the £8m Ashley has found down the back of the sofa... So what's happen to the other £14m worth of sales?
  11. Going by the money they have behind them, I very much doubt it'll just be 'for a bit'... Man Utd fans must be screwing though...
  12. FFS - the official club site is reporting news of these 'potential bids' Surely they should be keeping their trap shut until any business is done? http://www.nufc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsD...1520560,00.html Is there any club more amateurly run than us?
  13. Giving these stupid speculations some credence for the argument's sake: Do you think the owner would really give a toss about the effects of such kind of clauses in case he wants to get rid of the club? Very true, wasn't thinking of it from that aspect tbf
  14. About as believable as the chances of her ever seeing £2.5 million.
  15. I can understand it from Kaka's POV... I don't understand it from Citeh's. Desperation tbh - they're a million miles off qualifying for the CL this season and I'd say it was touch and go for next season to. Then what? Clause broken and away he'll go. Fruitloops! As for the fans who were on the TV claiming he's not just going there for the money....
  16. As for this.... Whatever happened to no one man being bigger than a football club? Fucking ludicrous that his contract should stipulate that the club owner remains for the duration of his contract.
  17. 31,380 according to .com... That makes Shinton's guess within 54
  18. Fish might as well throw those adoption forms away now........
  19. Letter from a gypo girl to a problem page in the newspaper... Dear Deirdre, I'm 18 years old and still a virgin.... Do you think my brother might be gay?
  20. I see Adam Sadler's been given the chop too... not been a good couple of months for him
  21. The Frog in the Tyne! ..is a whining swine
  22. I couldn't manage to understand that Probably because its gibberish. Roeder always seems to get teams relegated his second season in charge. I was hoping Norwich would be different - sadly not to his credit, he didn't manage it with us .... thank god!
