I remember when I went to spurs away I was very impressed by him. Quicker than he looks, strong, and very determined, his left foot is also quite sweet. I have a feeling all that spanish speaking lot could really gel together, Fab, Jose and Jonas! vamos!

oh yes, and Butt and Guthrie did remind me a little of Batty and Lee! Could be one of the signings of the season that, Guthrie looks a great little player, composed on the ball and he can sure as hell pick out some clever little passes, young too!

What a great performance. Coloccini showed the composure we have been lacking at the back since Woodgate played. The team looks confident, fit, and we really stuck it to the fucking champions - those dirty thuggish louts. UP THE MAGS!

If we sign Coloccini then I'd be happy with two more. A big young, athletic Striker and a pacy, tricky, creative, midfielder. This should last us until January when no doubt we will need reinforcements.

I'd really like us to sign at least one frontman. Even slapping in a £6m bid for Zigic or something. Someone that can help hold the ball up, an assist machine. A little pissed off that Blavkburn have Villanueva, that little kid looks tricky.

How good is this guy? It sounds like a lot of money to pay for a defender who hasn't played over here before.
From what I've seen of him, and not just because of his hair, he reminds me a bit of Puyol. Not saying he's the next Puyol, or as good, but he plays with his heart and is fairly athletic, can also use the ball well on the ground as most argies can. If we still havn't got another DMC in as backup for Butt, then I can see Coloccini doing a job there if needed. Ideally though, he would play with Faye/Taylor, also could cover RB if Beye is injured.
Would be nice to have another spanish speaker in there for Jonas and Jose. I think Geremi can speak a bit of spanish from an interview I read a while back; but if I was a young spanish lad it would probably wrong me out talking to Geremi all day.

People also haven't been making a thing of Federer having Glandular fever only a few months ago. This shit can take a year to get over properly! It's no coincidence he hasn't been the same player this year since.
