If you look at Scotland though they produced some of the best players in the world two generations ago. Kenny Dalglish, Denis Law, Jimmy Johnstone, Hughie Gallagher going back further. I think the problem with Scotland now, is it is a country of extremes. Their are parts of Glasgow where the life expectancy is 49.
