Dont even get me fookin started on that one An initiative thats supposed to make us more productive and is based on someone calculating how many cases a poerson can do in a day and then getting them to do just that. Radgee can correct me if Im wrong but from what Ive heard it means that people cannot go and get a case that isnt already on their desk so if they run out theres been stories of them having to put their hand up to ask for more, if they need to grab one from one cabinet to clear it as part of something else then they cant do that either so it gets put to one side til the next day. fookin consultants man, they knaaa nowt! not to get too boring and go into too much detail what we will have is a "supermarket" stocked with a "product mix" of work based on how many staff you will have working and an average "clearance" figure of 15.2 cases per day when you have completed your allotted amount of work from the supermarket ( 3 bits at a time) then you put up a green flag to indicate you need more work to do then an AA will get it for you....if you have a difficult case that will be time consuming then you put up a red flag ti indicate thus whereupon your boss will come over and check how long it will take you to clear it and indicate the time spent "offline" on a lovely whiteboard supplied for the purpose ......in a nutshell so to speak that is the new all singing all dancing LEAN procedure with begins with the black tape !!!! Don't you just love Civil Servants !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
