well all in all it wasn't a bad night...no techno trance to be heard at all.......Razorlight, Keane, Kooks, Ordinary Boys, etc etc in abundance....oh and a bit of Wham / Madonna and whigfield thrown in for the "oldies" an enjoyable evening was had and not a fight or an argument in the place !!

...and you've got the number for dial a drink.... and you know the best park benches on which to sup special brew. ya dippy lush never used dial a drink in me life......and have never touched special brew since I was 15 !!! I am a dippy lush with expensive tastes....

Don't see the point in "clubbing" anymore now that most of the bars are open till 1 or 2 anyway

true.. best thing to do is let them all go on their own and just say yes to whatever suggestions they make....much easier in the long run No cos they demand you take an interest. I can still actually remember my 18th...but then again I drank cider and black and Blue Lagoons in those days Cider and black, Malibu and coke, Taboo and lemonade. At the Riverside in Washy or down the village. Ahhh, halcyon days.... thats the one I was trying to remember ...Malibu and coke ....prefered Mirage to Taboo tho I remember one of my mates puking after a night on pernod and black. When it came up it looked and smelled exactly the same as it did when it went down. evil stuff Pernod mind I do remember my mate going into hysterics after puking up in the toilet one night as she thought she was bleeding internally

what is "de rigeur" at such social events nowadays ?? Do they still play musical chairs and pass the parcel ? Will the Mr Music man play Abba or the Bay City Rollers ??? I am partaking in one this evening and I do not want to look out of place ????

I bought three new books last saturday and have finished them all....wor lad is "in charge" of the tv on a saturday so can't watch anything I have Sky+'d during the week till the mora. the stepson is upstairs on the other tv playing Tiger Woods on his X box. Needed to put a couple of new albums on my MP3 but have already done that, have taken the dog out for a walk and he is now asleep so won't play.. .........I fear there may be only 1 alternative.....a pint Put all your clothes on back to front, start talking gobbledigook and hitting your head off the wall and stuff. Shout inappropriate things out the window. Time how long it takes for your fella to phone an ambulance. That should waste some time. Thats just normal friday night behaviour tho .....
