What an absolute knacker this mod is. Just Pope, Trippier, Tino, Botman, Lascelles, Kraft, Targett (?) injured in defence yesterday, all fringe players apparently. He's been coming out with this shit all year.

Botman replaced by the vastly experienced club captain who came on and ruptured his ACL?

This is also typical and absolute bollocks as tbd has said. I'm all for inclusiveness, you can be from Pennywell and be welcome as far as I am concerned.

 You’re bound to get some people that view it that way I’m sure, but those people are mental it’s about 10 miles away ffs

It’s just their new weird obsession tbh, ever since “classy” died down after they used Trafalgar Square as a communal commode and public bath. If you support Newcastle you have to be born on the centre circle of SJP or you’re plastic as basically anywhere else in the NE should historically be SAFC. They’re just losers making up anything to make themselves feel better.

The one thing Exile had left to cling on to was the length of time since Newcastle had beaten Sunderland. With that no longer being the case he’s complete lost it. That’s me assuming he wasn’t a better player than a current Brazil international when he was in his mid 20s though

 It’s phenomenal man. Bruno is better than any player they’ve had at their club, but knacker there says he was miles better and likely wasn’t challenged.

  4. Barnes obviously deserves a ton of credit, but I thought Hall and Anderson were both really good after coming on as well. Gordon man of the match imo, he was a constant bright point when he got on the ball. Stupid sending off but the ref was a right hopeless cunt throughout  he barely booked anyone but managed to book Gordon twice ffs.

West Ham have some excellent players but they can’t seem to put it all together, Paqueta loves a dive mind . Schar is a real liability defensively mind, and Dubravka can’t make a save which is becoming really frustrating.

He got a pretty easy ride as well. Which didn’t stop his knacker son trawling social media looking for fights. Steve Bruce then used that as evidence for all the shit him and his family had to put up with. Despite, according to him, only learning about it second hand. Like you say, a strange bloke. I’m glad it bothers him though, no wonder he got on with the equally thin-skinned Mike Ashley

 Aye, one of the funniest things about Bruce is every fucker knows he’s lazy as fuck. The fucker barely bothered taking training sessions, rocked up late or not at all, it’s all pretty publicly known through player interviews etc. Despite this he takes massive offense to anyone that even suggests he’s not a massively hard working bloke , the bloke could have put some effort in but he genuinely just went straight back to watching Telly in his office during training sessions after being outraged by the notion people thought he was a grifting cunt.

Well hang on a bit. It's already been in the media that they might be in some trouble for this financial year, it'll be an interesting summer.

They're changing the rules this summer aren’t they? I have a feeling that will somehow make Chelsea’s issues go away.

i don't see how chelsea have got away without a penalty. i know they've got decent commercial revenue but surely not enough to offset a spend of a billion quid

They’re a ticking time bomb when it comes to FFP, they’ll get hit with a massive player amortization amount every year and they’re going to have to basically make large profits on player trading every year to offset it. It’s massively risky and probably inevitable that they will have a window where they can’t shift enough to cover the large expense, but for the time being they’re managing to do it (Gallagher and the sale of Hall seem to be two large profits they’re trying for this summer).

Football was far and away better without VAR and FFP.

  7. Crap performance by basically the whole side. It’ll be nice having a goalkeeper back that doesn’t mind making the occasional save, not that the goals were all his fault but fucking hell man.

I’m really hoping that Howe is learning from this season as despite it being pretty clear we don’t have the players to play the same way available we just continue to try and play the same way. I understand we’ve had absurd injuries but the wide open way we defend has become so frustrating to watch.

Really hope we go into this summer with purpose mind, as despite it being hindsight last summer didn’t help us move forward in the short term (maybe the signing will all help from next season since Tino is the only one that’s really impacted this one).

The most annoying part is I thought Chelsea looked mostly crap, Palmer aside, especially that Cucurella

  8. Absolutely class man, they hounded out Mowbray after he’d over-performed as rather than seeing he was doing a decent job they genuinely thought all their players were superstars, and now they’re hurtling towards the bottom of the table. Hopefully next season they fuck off back to the third tier.

    Not his wage, his fee.

£40m in 2019, £6.5m a year, add another 3 years brings it down to £4.4m a year, right?

Couldn't remember how long his deal was so googled

He pretty much has no book value by this point, but yeah any that’s left would be amortized over the length of the new deal. It’s part of the reason Chelsea started giving contract extensions to players who had just signed like Enzo Fernandes, iirc they added a year to his deal shortly after he signed which would have lowered his yearly cost.

The best part of that screenshot is they’re discussing us being involved in a competition they’ve never ever been involved in, have been hammered by us this season but will still be absolutely convinced they’re a better and bigger club with a brighter future  then to cap it all off they’ll be adamant we’re the deluded ones.

  11. Football coverage is total fucking wank like. Getting all these blokes on from YouTube, then the only alternative is the big six obsessed tossers like Neville and Carragher.

Before the West Ham v Brentford game Carragher put a poll up about what they’d discuss prior to the game, every option being about Liverpool, Man U, and Chelsea , a bunch of bellends in the comments defending him saying it’s 4 hours of coverage so they can discuss other things - aye and he can’t come up with a single alternative topic? They’d have no fucking problem rattling on for 4 hours about the game in the build to Man U v Liverpool. There’s plenty of story lines and situations to discuss outside those fucking clubs but they’ve no interest. It’s dull as fuck.
