  1. P.S. I'll be watching the NFL game tomorrow, whereas I don't normally watch due to the time difference. If I was anywhere near London I might have even gone to Wembley, and any Dolphins/Giants fans that might be complaining about it can go screw themselves
  2. The point being they probably aren't even aware of it, and those that have have a distorted view due to the Bekham saga. I heard an LA Galaxy match referred by yanks the other day as 'pub football'. It's about raising the League's profile, it's not as if it will become a regular thing. I'm not interested in raising the league's profile though. I don't care how popular we are in other countries - the Premier League is plenty popular enough around the world without going and playing games in other countries though. I doubt the PL will care what Toon fans think when deciding to do something that will no doubt increase their revenues. There was a time that people said televised football in this country wouldn't succeed due to lack of interest, I think the thousands of fans away from the Toon will have been glad of the decision to do it anyway. I don't imagine they do care what I think. But I still think it's a shit idea. There's a difference between televised a match and moving it 3,000 miles away though. Although I'm sure you can see that and will just plough on with the Devil's Advocate act. Of course I can see that, but it's still bringing the game to people who can't go to the match. Is it even carried on many US networks? Like I said, raise the profile and the money will pour in. Then we can afford DECO
  3. Maybe cause there was nothing he could do as we were utter poo... Dont ask me how we manage to lose away games but with the team we have we should be putting in a far better performance then the one we just dished out! We didnt create anything of real note all game and when we did it was through N'Zogbia and through playing the ball to the feet of our forwards. The long balls and hitting the ball into space didnt really work in the first half and im surprised we continued to do it! It was frustrating as we have these skillful players who i am sure have the skills to get around players and pass the ball and create, yet they dont. Oh well there is always next week... The long ball worked for them well enough...
  4. Reading finished 8th last season and have the same points now as at this point last season. Not sure what you're trying to prove here, look at our squad and look at theirs. The difference should be obvious. That they are not a championship side.

  7. What the fuck is wrong with Sam? 88 minutes to go and he's sitting in the dugout picking his fingernails not even looking at the game, yet at the same time on Monday and we're ahead he's screaming his head off.
  8. At least 3 or 4. Plenty corners and free kicks too.
  9. Conceded to a long ball. Fancy that Shay should have clattered him.
  10. Snakey is DEFINITELY a jinx.
  11. 2-1 first touch from their sub. Wankers.
  12. Mackems getting roundly booed. Revolution didn't last long
  13. I honestly don't see how wingers and Smith prevent misplaced passes and ball watching in the midfield.
  14. We can't string more than 3 passes together. 1-1

  16. That is a shocking goal to concede with 4 midfielders on the park, can't see who it was but we had two ballwatchers there. Having wingers on wouldn't have changed a thing though.
  17. Well if they don't do it we have to suffer the cluelessness of acrossthepond forever more. On a serious note that's a pretty narrow minded view. How many American based fans do you think we have that have never even seen a home game? Why do you think most PL teams do pre-season tours of far away places nowadays? Because they won't be playing their league fixtures there. To be fair it's a decent idea on the whole... just not for Newcastle! Well of all the more famous teams they could choose from you'd think we'd be flattered. Then again there's plenty that think 52,000 fans is the be all and end all of football.
  18. Has Chester Mag ever used this ticket?

  20. Or 2-0 up, it's not that bad. Calm down
  21. He's not saying anything he didn't say a couple of weeks ago. I appreciate there are fans that need continual reminders of the situation due to their inability to remember things for more than a few days, but this is just talking for the sake of it.
  22. Fat Sam is a journalists dream, he can't keep his gob shut.
  23. I used it and was detained for 28 days without charge as an islamic fundamentalist.
