  1. I think I just replied to the wrong post as well. Whatever I was drinking at the Union Rooms is either awesome or evil. So long as people weren't trying to start fights or anything then I'm fine with all the protests. It was going to happen, and as far as I know it all happened calmly (if noisily). I agree that people shouldn't be targeted because they chose to get a pie or something, although you may want to consider going on a diet.
  2. point being It would have went through normally...seeing as i don't live near the ground I used the club shop many times. and Ashley's shops round here don't really stock any nufc gear (like i said in a previous thread) what'd you do in way of protest anyways Gemmill, superfan that you are and all. Fuck all. I never buy any NUFC gear and I never buy anything from the shop at the match. So you didn't do anything about the situation and yet you and Tom want to tell us we don't have the right to voice our opinions. Right ho. I chanted Keegan's name, I applauded the Cockney Mafia OUT lads. Oh and I went to the match. How's the weather in France today? Average sadly but should be better next week. I don't think Mike Ashley's shitting himself about my opinion or yours but I still think a bloke who can't go to a match and not buy a pint when he's supposedly trying to voice his disapproval is laughable. It's just a bit of a shame that somehow people who supposedly want the same thing are trying to pull rank because they're at the game and others can't be. The bloke has said he got involved in the protests outside the ground, he wore an Ashley Out t-shirt, and people that did nothing even approaching that much are pulling him up for having a pint of lager. Do me a favour. Not 'the corner', the corner near that where nothing ever kicks off. I did see that something happened in the corner, but I've no idea what, my best guess was that whoever had the Cockney Mafia Out banner were being prevented from parading it. Total guess. It was just before the penalty anyway.
  3. Saw some bloke, well young lad being taken out by stewards, no idea what it was about, it was close by and I hadn't seen or heard any trouble. Steward got some verbal abuse....yeah, great idea to come running back up the stairs, that'll calm things down. Nothing against any of you who may be stewards, but why the fuck did he think that was a good idea? Yeah, tensions are running high, let's start running about like a blue-arsed fly on crack. He's lucky that most people are decent.
  4. I know it's about boro, and most of you have likely seen it, but this is why Jeff Stelling rules. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eSHruroVuX8
  5. He doesn't have to be right to be very funny. Lot of time for him over most TV pundits.
  6. You were there were you? Supporting the lads? Presumably posting here from your iPhone.
  7. Sadly RICO wasn't there, I'd have kicked him in front of a charging horse.
  8. Anyway. Getting to Fenham was a pain in the arse after the game, dogs kept trying to savage me.
  9. I didn't, but fuck off, why don't you just rim him cunntybollocks.
  10. I thought it was news because the Echo covered it, followed by incredibly lazy national papers, genuine news requiring effort and sane analysis.
  11. Oh and TOTT is simply shite.
  12. I also lurk on N-O as abcdefg (how was I supposed to know I'd start posting?).....and Skunkers, but that scares me
  13. Only reason I ever post here, I lurk as it's easier than looking at all the paper sports sections for news.
  14. Oh I'm sorry, I must have misinterpreted your post, you clearly said that the mid 80s were blighted by hooligans, rather than saying this is something we are missing. I now see that you meant this caused the lowest football attendance in decades, as normal people don't think stamping on somebody's head is an enjoyable way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Also, making the city centre a no go area for families, that of course had nothing to do with dildos trying to maim each other. Once again, apologies. Were you a hooligan back then? Or just a nobend who sort of thought this was fun to watch? I'd have had no problems with your post otherwise. I remember why most of my family stopped going for many years, and I remember being picked up by my dad into BHS to avoid such scumbags. If you want to fight, take up amateur boxing, and leave decent people alone.
  15. Football violence, t'riffic mate *makes wanker sign*
  16. Geordies are monkeys and morons quoth the man. Think of him as a male Julie Burchill without the wit.

Though if we're looking at slightly shady geezers I'd prefer Genial Harry Redknapp, just as he's funnier.

Not keen (Keane?) but we probably can't do better.
  19. Only ask as someone on my (non football) board has persuaded one of his mates that Les Ferdinand would like to have a kick about in their 5-a-side matches.
  20. Totally off-topic sorry, but is that site detailing the Hitzfeld wind-up still around?
  21. I'm going to take it as kind anyway . I only really do football messageoards before and after games, so you're safe for a couple of days.
  22. Don't mind me I'm off, there's little worse than up themselves twats into messageboard 'beefs'. Stick around, bring back the Burch tbh Ah you're too kind, I'll be back then, hungover now. If I didn't say so already, Emre should be gone if this is true, though how they're going to prove it one way or another I don't know, maybe enhance the audio recording somehow?
